    Well i am going to talk to a shop tomorrow to see what my options are... Im just going to start saving for my plan for a rebuild and hope for the best...

    It helped some... I am going to re read through it all tomrrow but i just got off the phone and the previous owner said that he put 150k on the jeep and never change the transmission fluid. So i am going to pursue that first. I really hope that between this and getting the bands tightened fixes it. If it does that will save me $600 to rebuild the trans.

    Anyways man about how much am i looking at to get the bands tightened... I am going to wait till after i change the fluid. There is no telling how bad that fluid is and something may not be getting fluid that should be.

    Yea i just got off the phone with my buddy and he said i need to just have a shop do it... Oh and my flux capacitor is changed every 3k miles with my oil .

    Said he changed the governor pressure switch... what ever that is. I am about to just go to a shop and have them take the jeep for a test drive and see whats up.

    I know the gasket and filter is $20 Na man its not slipping... I know that for a fact... Its like when i am accelerating when it shifts into 2nd it will jump from right around 1100 RPM's up to 2k and then right back down to where is was and keep on going like nothin ever happened. Has been doing it sense we bought it.

    Ok you guys i finally found a video showing what my trans is doing. Watch and when the jeep shift into 2nd the RPM's JUMP and go back to normal Now this guys said he changed the trans fluid and something else and it fixed it?     Welcome homie... There is a wealth of knowledge on this site so start reading up! You should have a LOT of it down pat by the time you have a car! My best advice is dont cheap out. Just save up... Thats one piece of advice that i think EVERYONE of here will give you!
