i got all the wires ran and the power to the alt is arcing at the alt. it's fused and eveything but it's arcing like crazy down at the alt

I have blocks of wood under the 4 corners of the amp, just for air. The rubber is probably a good idea though

It's an old Rockford deck and the amp is a punch 400-4, the battery is in the trunk so the rcas and power aren't close. By the way, i picked up a pair of crossfire bmf 12s in a box today for 70$ good deal? good subs?

There is a high pitched noise that happens/gets louder when the engine speeds up from the components/tweeters. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks
