heinrich is right, 18's are out of the question for that space. 1 10" pyle in a 5.44 cu. ft box tuned to about 48 hz on a lanzar 300 watt amp will sound better than anything else you're thinking of putting in there.. i'm ready for this build log, that's a pretty low budget system, shouldnt take long. dam, and i was thinking of using a boss 4000 watt amp to power my 18s while having the volume gainknob turn all the way to the right so i can getz loudz. im shit out of luck then. but for real, what about if the the length is from 40 to 50 inch, over the wheel well? and the port up, subs up. im selling the 18s to recone the MTs that i got in my room. and mos def upgrading my amp to 2 sundowns 3000, once i get monies.

try around 11-12 cu ft for 2 18s.

x2 used to play it at school (high SCHOOL) while disconnecting the ethernet cable so my teacher wont take over my computer and shut it down so i can do my work. FTW

it will still dim because of the stock alternator i think. the alternator wont keep up wit the demand of what the amps the amplifier needs. upgrade the alternator first, then the battery

yes they are. i used the kolossus for the big 3 for saftey precaution against the cca wire (KLMX i think its called). but i used the KLMX for my amp wiring, but im using the newest cables that they came out with a lil bit of flex in them, and i got to say, for $1.75 a foot, it is MOST DEF worth it if you dont want to spend over $50+ ON 1/0 ga wire alone. and it has more strands than mostly any other brand

If i get this sub it's gonna be in my home theater or I'm gonna just put it to the side and wait till I get the money and get another powerbass amp and take my current 15 and get the same fi softparts and have 2 18's walled off. What fi recone did you use? i just emailed scott, and they had to make me one. the option is not listed on the site. scott made the sub when he owned re audio. i paid $105 i think for the 18 D1 recone with integrated tensils.

no need a splitter, just 2 sets of rca. the first set will be ran from your stereo to any of the amps. now, with the amp that is connected to the stereo, get the seceond set and hook it up to the ouput of the amp that is connected to the stereo and use the other side of the second set of rca to the input of the second amp. and on the remote turn on wire, from the stereo to one amp, and get another remote turn on wire, and use the wire on the same terminal of the first amp to the second so both amps can turn on. hope i aint confusing you. BUT DO NOT RUN 2 DIFFERENT PAIR OF SUBS. SELL THEM ALL AND GET 2 BETTER SUBS DUDE.
