he said when he pulled it out there is no gap.... i assumed that meant the end was smashed... i could be wrong...

its the wrong plug. its to long and the piston is hitting the end of the plug and smashing it and thats pieses of the piston getting shipped off. if you dont get the right one you can crack the piston and throw it through the head. go to yamaha and get the right one.

first off where did you buy those studs? where they specifically for that motor? if they are and it says they are supposed to work then i would go after the company for a new cam..... but if you cant or dont want to spend the time then buy a new cam. id send that one back and say it showed up that way. DO NOT USE THAT CAM lol

dont use an after market o2 sensor! period! dont listen to anyone unless you want to waist your money. get a factory one. but if your shop hasnt figured it out in 3 tries then find a different shop honestly. have it properly diagnosed.

the shifter. ratchet shifters suck a dick.... it probably just needs to be correctly adjusted on the trans or even fitted better in the floor... anyone that knows how to install one could get that figured out in a few minutes.

if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. and yes this is a scam, you will most likely start to get strange emails. but will also probably just go to your junk mail but it gets annoying having to empty it every day or couple days.

when i first bought it after a little suspension work new motor for my dads car. pic was taken last week. im the goofy looking on one the left lol and just something a friend of ours had me and my dad work on. neat car though

yea in that short clip i posted of my chevelle i went from a stop and made that turn and you can kind of see the speedo i was doing about 70. in about 4-4.5 seconds or so. from the same light, going straight though not turning, i raced a newer style charger, i think it was supercharged b/c i could hear the wine but it could have been a turbo, im not sure, but from a dead stop and he had about a 5mph roll and i didnt no we were racing until he floored it and then i followed. we were pumper to bumper till about 100 and then i shifted into 4th and took his doors off till about 120 and then let off because my street was coming up, i ended up missing my turn because i couldnt slow down in time and i didnt want to slam on the brakes haha. but at 120 it was very stable and still had a little more to go, not much but a little. but considering it was a 45mph zone and i clearly raped him i didnt want to go anymore...

if that one doesnt work out there are a few other cars im looking at also so its not really that big of a deal if this one goes through or not i just really like the car and motor combo. a 496 big block with 650hp on pump gas would be absolutely SICK. i hope it works out but we will see i guess.

yea id probably do a little trunk build in the car with some dc 8s or something, that would be cool lol. but anyway if right quick i can get some advice on what you guys think of what the car is worth that would be great. they need the money so im pretty sure i can get him down on the price a little more. maybe 8500 or 9k. but thats probably about it..

yea.... haha my dad has been a mechanic for 40 years and i have been for about 6 and still going to school for more... ive helped just about everyone on here that has posted problems they have with there cars. at least tried to, some people dont want to take advice but ask for it... i dont really get it but i try...

oh and that pic was before the interior was re done, you can notice there is only a drivers seat haha this was straight home from paint.. and since them he got new rear tires that are a little bigger so it makes it look a little different. but were putting the new motor in it now so i dont have any recent pics. will have some soon hopefully

yea i no. we also have a fully restored 69 camaro. here is my dads car. and it doesnt look like i have any pics of my chevelle on this computer but here is a little video of me driving it

plus i want to work on it. thats the point in buying them, so i can fix them and sell them. so any work that i can do i will do it. i just cant to body work or re upholstery...

i sold that 67 for 14k. bought it for 12.5k. but i actually ended up losing about 300 on the deal... and then ended up my dad bough the engine back from the guy we sold it to for his car..

its a 496 stroker motor. honestly i dont no how you get that but it sounds sick... i will do some research on the motor and see how they come out with that but i do no its bored 60 over so thats not the greatest but im not going to beat the piss out of it so it will be fine, and you can sleeve these motors to if i ever had to do that..

oh and i just sold my 67 chevelle... i just wasnt crazy for the body style and i like this more. but id really like to get a 66 or 67 nova but they are way out of my price range right now... so i will buy and sell a couple cars and end up with one eventually.

very nice elc. and yes i would race it in my area, im in the chicago land area so sugar grove, route 41, anywhere else close lol...

also i have the guy at 9500. the first off i made and he said he could do it so i think i can get a little more shaved off that. only down side i can see is that its red and i dont really like red cars all that much... but it would be a bad ass car... 650hp big block... oh and just to put this out there.... yes i do want a race car lol. it will be a street car but i will take it to the track and see what it would run and maybe make a little money off it..
