Yes, I believe the 15s will out perform the 12s. Play around with Torres box calculator. If you can't fit the 15s, go with the 12s. The 4 12s don't require as much airspace

The 3 15s have more cone area, so id use them. I wouldn't run over 3.5k daily to them. The 3 1606s will be good, but ill recommend a SAZ-2500D or 3500D. Sundowns are WAY more efficient and put out more power at lower voltages (don't lose ~18% per volt)

Are all the parts you found that actual parts that Apple uses? ive bought batteries and headphone jack/lock "harnesses" from ebay before. brand new parts. they arent from apple but they are brand new. im seriously thinking about doing this LOL. the most expensive thing will be the logic board. I didnt mean directly from Apple. I meant the same part Apple uses. lol I would try it for fun, but dont have anywhere near the knowledge to pull it off. haha

Lmao. If your subs are SINGLE 4 ohm subs, you can get a 2 ohm or 8 ohm load. If they're dvc subs, you'll get either a 1 or 4 ohm load. So yes, it'll work

What subs were you using? And you do realize the the OP is using 2 Sundown 3ks on 2 XLs, right? I'm guessing he will strap the amps at 2 ohms.
