  1. Build log linky please ? Wait, mono? Don't run them mono. Also, you'll figure something out with some fiberglass that will fit them in.
  2. I wouldn't do that. It would be a waste of the 8"s. The extra excursion used at the lower frequencies could be better used with more power and a HPF. Plus, you probably wouldn't hear the low bass from them anyway so it would be even more wasteful. EDIT: Probably a horrible way of explaining what I mean, but think it makes sense hmm, you could get clever with your head unit crossover. Set a high pass on that and a low pass on the amp?
  3. Full means full range, so both filters will be disabled. You'll need some kind of processor or something with a bandpass filter. I'd go HPF at 60-8O (depending on what your subs are at) and LPF for like 200 maybe 150. I don't know what amp he used, but he has a 360.2 (well, 2 of them) and used them for the crossovers.
  4. Not to be rude but generally people on here like proof that it will actually happen. Lots of people that come on here say that they are about to get their car and want like 6 15"s and 10kw with 3 alts and 10 batts and a whole bunch of stuff. And then nothing happens about it, they end up with a Sony 12" or 2. I also say wait till you get the car then come back here, that way you won't get ripped on. Trippi (the guy with the 6 18" SMDs in the Hummer) got ripped on when he first came here, everybody said he was just dreaming but he showed them. So yeah, don't be scared away. haha.
  5. Nope, try to get the port area number between the port area range numbers. BTW: no need to tune so low.
  6. haha, just cause it is old doesn't mean it can't be trusted man. I have a 20 year old sony with my 2 channel and 3k. Try another head unit though.
  7. It's in his room, he said that in his first post Rebel, I mean the crossover in the amp. Well, in the same casing at least.

  10. Still better to have the amp working properly, either see if rockford can do it or ask on here for someone in your area.
  11. Yeah, it would, but it is better to just get the amp fixed if it is faulty, that way it can be used without that thing and it will have a better resale value.
  12. Even if you had one, you'd still need to know what to look for. I'd just send it off to someone who fixes amps.
  13. Oh, I'm not saying you can't do it, I'm saying that unless there is some huge black spot on the board or something obvious like that, you'll need a o-scope and a bunch of know-how on fixing amps. Is it still under warranty?
  14. That sounds like it is faulty, or you don't have it switched to low pass (if the amp has a selector switch). You'd have to open it up and check out the innards, or get a pro to anyway.
  15. This is a low pass right? It should be working if it is set to that? Is it faulty?
  16. That should do the job. Is there not a crossover on the amp though?
  17. Any info on the crossover? Cause for all we know it could be a 12db high pass at 1.5khz
