just for your information, the hdc3 is basically the same DD 3500, if you are thinking about using a small box with a tiny port on those subs, you are going to fail big time!!! if you don´t have the space for a proper box, then i suggest you to just go with a pair of smaller subs...

my 3518´s are tuned to 32 hz , but yes , you don´t need a low ass tuning, those 3510´s can go WAY lower than tuning frequency without any problems, just saying...

Yeah, but having 45´s, adding resin, routing edges and all those things together would get you louder not only on the sensor, but to your ears also, no i didn´t explain it using a slot port since PVC is cheaper and easier to work with, i´m gonna try a few things with a slot port this weekend but 45´s should be almost the same since the box is sub side/port back like the other boxes, so pressure points are the same...
