ive searched and saw some vids on youtube but havent really seen anything on here? any body have a build log with a 18 btl in a trunk car? im reconing my 12 btl to a 18 in like 3 or 4 weeks but im getting the box next week (kerfed port ftmfw) tuned to 33hz sub up port back i think like 5ish cuft or 6 in a 02 sebring 4 door. with autotek 1900.1 (temp until get funds for better one 3000watt memphis took a shit on me) i hope to get atleast 141. but anyways any links to builds on here? ive searched on here but couldnt find any in the trunk (not an suv or hatch) a trunk car.. anybody?

this might not be it but i got a popping sound from a 12 once because it wasnt screwed in all the way (to the box) thought i blew it lol then i screwed it down and it went away. but your right it might be the box. ground issue? never know..

so theres 2 runs of 0 gauge? one for the jbl and one for the alpine? but yes. 100 would be OKAY if you dont turn it up past like 1/2 volume lol even then it might not last all weekend. i used a 60amp fuse on a memphis 2000. it was all i had and it lasted for about 2 1/2 songs on full volume lol

well the stock ones prob sounded louder cuz they were being pushed more then the power bass ones that arent even to the rms. might not be true buts it the only thing i can think of

whats the rms on the power bass components? and whats yoyur headunit? 50x4?
