  6. lol damn fellas, mean lol okay here are a few other options for the money you are looking at. Sub options in no particular order 18" FI BTL https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154be8f9261ad10/shopdata/0050_Speakers/0010_BTL/product_overview.shopscript !8" Nightshade http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=70_71 And Amps http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_67_68 http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_100_101 Dont get me wrong, I am a Kicker fan, but there is better to be had for the same money. Check out a few of the builds on this site and you will start to see a pattern developing. FI, Sundown, DD, Ascendant, and a few others get used quite a bit on here and they are really a better deal than the Solo-X's.
  7. happy birthday bro.

  8. If it is just surface rust, aka no pitting, you can sand it down to bare metal then put a self etching primer then a sealer. If it has started pitting then you can use a rust converter something like this http://www.bicwarehouse.com/rust-reformer-7830-730.html then prime and seal, but this is just a temporary band-aid. Another thing to think about is you are going to have to do both sides of the metal. If it has started pitting and getting into the metal the only way to fix it right is to remove and replace the rusted area.
  9. May he rest in peace. Karma has a way of coming back around to drunk bastards like that. Be strong for his family.
  10. I sped. I followed too closely. I ran a stop sign. I almost hit a Chevy. I sped some more. I failed to yield at a crosswalk. I changed lanes at the intersection. I changed lanes without signaling while running a red light and *speeding*! lol Something is wrong with me.
  11. You could buy it and most muffler shops have tools to flare the tubing to go up to the right size. then run 3" out the tail
  12. I think this would make a good start to something really loud. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/1719497324.html
  13. honestly depends on how much you want to spend. You could do all for wheels for like 60 bucks but that would be using all cheap stuff, the nicer the paint ect the more its gonna cost.
  14. sandpaper + etching primer + paint + clearcoat + Time = Shiny steel wheels
  15. Just my 2 cents, you said you have to buy the guy a compressor? I honestly don't know a single auto painter that doesn't own his/her (dont wanna be sexist lol) own air compressor. Its kinda one of those have to have kind of things. Im not saying that the guy may or may not be any good, but 1600 for a paint job isnt bad even if you are helping with the sanding if the guy is good. I would say look at his portfolio of paint jobs and if he dont have one find someone else.
  16. If it was me, I'd use it like a bigass piggy-bank. And just dig the money out every 6 months or so lol. + 1 on the metal idea.
  17. its funny, but it shouldnt be. i'm goin to hell.... lol
  18. For the record, all vehicles that are not equipped with 4wd are scared of heights, I saw it on Oprah. Bags set up for 22's would be hot Also you could put on the wires when you wanna change it up. IMO
