OmniMic link to Parts Express So I was browsing the SMD product links and Parts Express is selling this product that hooks to your pc/laptop and was wondering if it would be worth investing in just for eq tuning and clipping purposes not real SPL metering or anything. I know Meade has his new distortion detector out but this also claims to be an RTA and time delay and all that. Let me know what you think or know from first hand experience. I'll post anything else I find too. Bitches will eat there puppies poop until they are weened. FYI lol. I just watched it...Jack Russel/AppleHead Chihuahua mix. cute but the girls they throw can't have puppies cuz they might throw a Jack Russel dominant puppy that's to big for them to pass and it would kill the Jackahua. NE wayz.... Eating all the time is def from a nutrient deficiency or just instinct from not getting fed alot in the mill... or both.. and/or worms.. all of which are possible. I'd try a puppy food that is also high in fiber to keep him from overeating as much. Just slowly introduce and switch it out so the little shit factory don't get the runs from the sudden change. Then he'd have to lap it up like a spilt milkshake. Def take it to the vet if not already to check for worms.. and like everyone else is saying keep his mouth wrapped around something other than food like toys and stuff. Also it's not mean to take the bowl away after he's ate the daily recommended amount. IDK other than what's already been said. I bet he is cute though... why no pics of it?

i know this isn't the exact explanation you wanted but it will help Thread link.... He makes a base mold of the panel first so it can be removed and trimmed up. then the driver can be positioned and you can wrap the entire thing at once and bolt it in place. My recomendation is to cut a little hole in the panel first for the driver to sit in so it doesn't stick up as much. and make the base mold go in the hole enough to keep it all sealed or cut the hole back out and leave it open if your sound dampening the door. Tape the panel off first though so it won't stick to it. and wear gloves Use a stretchy cloth for the wrap. and chop strand mat for the layup... do it at least 3 good layers thick if not more and be careful about sanding the edges to thin. You can also youtube it and watch vids to see the process also. Hope this helps... i've done a little bit of glassing but i'm no pro by any means but once you get into it it's not hard just takes patience. Practice making something first so you don't get discouraged if you mess up the pod the first time.

I take that back.. bought some resin today... night and day diff... oh and put the panels in the sun today and they hardened finally and i used more jelly for the top of the pods and mixed it hotter... still was tacky forever.. so i built up somemore over the tacky with resin and more cloth.. it was dry in like 30min... so in conclusion i'm a complete retard. Jelly sucks and my autobody teacher is a reject....(for more than just that reason) it's his first year teaching and he has issues with the teaching part... good at body work though... check out my build for pics CLICKY

i have a similar phenomenon. sometimes mine sits at 14.2-14.3 til i cut my radio on then it will spike to 14.4-14.5 til the music starts. Same thing with headlights. ? it might have something to do with the overall amount of juice going through the entire elec system but idk?

thank you.. i just asked my papaw and he said the same thing.. heat is what cures it... and hotter batches next time cuz 30drops is way not enough... unless your in a desert

if it's just not enough hardener will it ever cure? maybe the package was just wrong and it's not horse shity hardener

F it...... i'll just redo them tom with hotter mix if there not cured my morning. the the old one is hardish in places but the new one isn't even starting to harden....... WTF is the point of directions if they're wrong?

the first one was kinda getting hard but still very tackuy. the second one i just doubled up and tossed. I mixed a new batch from the new hardener so we'll see if that makes a diff. if not i'll mix it hotter next time. but i'm doing 4oz:30drops... maybe my drops are smaller than theirs? I like the jelly btw.. it's thick like bondo and spreads very thick. I put two drops of the new stuff on my mixing stick with some jelly and it got hard while i was at my night class (1hrish) but it was only a dab of jelly so it was way outta proportion. ne way give it 30-40 min and we'll see if its getting hard.. thanks guys

i saw a guy yesterday in my autobody class that was using a 14ga speaker wire for a ground.... but anyway 2 4ga would be better than one 2ga according to that program..... but 2 8's not double than one 4... but good link. you could run those 2 8's no prob just don't push it hard for very long or you might get a hot wire...

how long should it take to get hard enough normaly with normal resin and hardner?

My Autobody teacher who's worked for NASCAR for years told me that Fiberglass jelly is the stuff cuz it don't run..... Well i got some.. used it... It said 30drops hardner per 4oz of jelly... i mixed it... spread it... It looked like it was good... it's been well over an hour and it's still very tacky and not hard. I even added a few to many drops on accident? It says on the can after 30-40mins finish and paint... Any ideas or should i just wait longer edit: the hardner busted open on me last night and got every where,,, so i didn't get to do anything til today with it and used the last that was in the busted tube... will it go dead in air?

as far as midbass.. O2 audio.. Image Dynamic... Cresendo... I have 4 P1 8's off a 600.2 at 150rms each and like them alot for just midbass... Image Dynamic are my favorites but i wanted bigger drivers for midbass alone. I think my 360.2 is 20-75 & 75-300 & 300-2500 & 2500+ but i maybe wrong... I love my 360.2 cuz the device is nice and compact without a bunch of wires and knobs and tuning it is as easy as clicking and dragging plus the 150band eq is super nice. using it on a phone is easy too if you can find a compatible device. I have an old Palm Treo and downloaded a retro program for my Palm Pixi but it won't let it use the phones bluetooth so that was pointless...lol but the program works in demo mode

How many watts would you feel comfortable pushing daily on music with one of those. I keep seeing everybody clamping them on stupid amounts of power compared to the RMS rating but it's always tones and burps. I'm wanting two and want to know what they can handle safely daily tuned around 38hz-42hz ish.

Gonna turbo it just keep it mini i'm planning a complete rebuild once I get started with auto body classes in aug. the first step is suspension period. I half ass did it and am fixing it asap so it will at least lay frame on 20s and ride good...

I was given the assignment in English 105 to write a research paper on an influental entrepreneur. Everyone in class is doing their papers on dead people like Madam CJ walker, Henry Ford, and The Wendies Guy. I don't like the idea of researching and reading old outdated texts. I chose Meade because he's modern and has done so much for the custom audio world. I don't really know what the instructor is looking for persay but i know i need to know the basics. Would you be willing to give me some info on yourself Steve? I need basic info and stories like: When did you get into car audio? What are some of your major accomplishments and general dates when they occured? What kinds of schooling do you have? What is your motivation do keep posting and doing what you do? Basically a general biography as well like: Where you were born? Who influenced you at an early age? How you've influenced the economy and the niche you belong too. Obviously i can look up the articles you've been in and stuff like that but that's only a little bit of what I need. I don't really know how long it's suposed to be but it's suposed to be orally presented as well as written. I know it's cheesy that i'm using you Meade but it's you or Chip Foose. And Foose would require me to do actual research. I'll repost the final report on here for the rest of the world to see as well because i think it's important for them to know the man behind the name as well. Thank you if you decide to help me out.
