He seriously makes me want to rip all my audio shit out of my car and throw half of it in the trash and burn the other half. 99.9% of the shit I do he complains about it, and tells me i'm wasting my money and time on silly car and i'm throwing away all my money on speakers and amps... I mean he just got lecturing me on what exactally im doing with bondo and fiberglass thats in the garage and he wants everything passed by him before I do anything..It was a huge enough struggle for him to let me build a box for my new setup, but If I told him what i'm spending, shit would hit the fan. Idk what to do honestly. Everytime I get my motovation up and desire to do something unique to my car my dad alaways pisses on my goal and it's getting to me... Wtf... any help or advice??

Haha. I opened my amp up and nothing looks fried or burnt. I also didn't hear anything when i turned car on after reversing the power and grounds. Is this typical?

Lol.... Dont know why I did that. Noone to blame but my mistake on that one. Also I have to call Eclipse Diamond Service for the warranty, so it will be fixed free of charge. So that's the good news. the bad news is no music for a while :/

I did a stealth install under my driver chair with an Eclipse Ea4200 4 ch Amp from crutchfield. I thought it would be a great place because there's the foot AC tubes that shoot right out under there, and wallah; awesome cooling feature Anyway, I dont know why I guess I wasn't thinking or paying attention, but I hooked up my + wire to the ground on the amp, and the ground to the + input. And now my amp wont fire up. I fixed the problem, I have the amp grounded near the E Brake, on a bolt that holds the sheet metal down. I've tried a few diff grounds. I know it's getting the turn on lead because it's connected to my zx750.1 in the trunk and that's turning on. I don't know what else to do. I know it's still under warranty so I can send it back to CF. Any thoughts? Also, ive checked all fuese. Nothings blown. Car runs normal and other amp works.

Their pictures make it look like it's that nasty clear/thick power wire jacket it's not.
