Good deal or no?
chud replied to TLEJ's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
As long as their functional it's still a great deal...even if they are the 600 watt models. The Q 600.1 sells for $430 on woofersetc. -

It should say Q 1200.1 on it somewhere. It should also be 18.5" long x 8.625" wide & around 2.5" high. -

My post was informative and honest, jeff. Keep up the good work...

I wasn't being a jackass, jeff. In fact, I taught this individual a thing or two tonight. I'm beginning to warm up to the idea of having my own personal troll, jeff. Feel free to follow me around while you're here.

It's a great deal if the repairs aren't extremely expensive. Be sure to get an estimate from db-r before buying them...
-
db-r handles Sundown's repairs. It doesn't get any more reputable than that, bro...

Here's the internals of a PAI-120.4: Here's the internals of a SAX-100.4:

Here are the Formula X amplifiers: http://www.formulaxaudio.com/fx_4000d.htm http://www.formulaxaudio.com/FX%20740.2.htm http://www.formulaxaudio.com/fx4802.htm etc, etc, etc..... and the RD amplifiers: http://www.rdaudio.net/rd85/rd85.htm http://www.rdaudio.net/rd55/rd55.htm http://www.rdaudio.net/rd550/rd550.htm etc, etc, etc.....

Yup. As I said; They're the same exact thing as the Sundown SAX & SAZ line. They are extremely nice amplifiers.
-
Now you're thinkin' with your dipstick. The PAI amps are the same thing as Sundown's sax & saz line, older RD Audio, Crescendo, Solid Audio, Formula X and others that slip my mind at the moment. They were built by a company called zenon that's based in Korea. This isn't unusual and there's nothing wrong with it.
-
I don't remember the amps ever being on the DC website. And DC has never "made" amps. Never.
-
I hope you have a hookup for the PAI-2000.1, because DC doesn't have them anymore. They're not even on the 2010 Team DC price list. When you buy DC stuff, you get decals. If you want to support the brand, put those decals on your vehicle and maybe buy a shirt to wear at comps...

The lulz have been had already, superstar. :fyi:

I hear Rusty is already scrambling to put a contract together. This is going to be a lucrative deal. :fyi:
-
The guys at DC will be falling all over themselves because of this opportunity.

You were looking right at the word "lose", but misspelled it anyway.
