The only rule to wiring with inverted subs is that if one is inverted and one isn't you must wire ONE of the subs with reversed polarity. The polarity with regards to the rest of your system isn't critical - one way may or may not sound better than others. To all you people worrying about maintaining perfect phase... did you ever allow for the fact that you get 90 degrees of phase shift for every 6db of slope on your crossovers?

It's actually just called the AQ20, lol. I think there was rumor of it doing close to 20,000 at some 18.x voltage but the board has to be modified to accept the input voltage. Which a regular Joe couldn't do so it was more far amp techies if I recall correctly.

Well the AQ20 is rated for 8,000 at 1 ohm.

I'd like to see the difference on a legit 2000 watt amp. Obviously anything over 250 amps might result in a huge issue. My install for example. Dual 370 amp alternators two runs each to a D3100 with four runs of positive and four runs of negative to a bank of five XP2500s. I honestly don't see the value of using OFC vs CCA. But then again I'm powering an AQ20 to .67 nominal. I expect a good amount of current draw, but not more than my CCA can carry. Guess I'm deviating, half a bottle of crown
