dude i did that with a bolt tho... its complicated to explain but it was at least an inch deep in my knee... didn't hurt much but felt weird. i put peroxide in a cue tip and stuck it in there that's how i know how deep it was. it grossed out my friends but i thought it was funny.

like emat said they are usually tuned way too high, put together with poor glue and usually very few nails. i have yet to see a pre fab that had screws holding it together. and its just better to make your own because not only is it cheaper but you can make it to fit your needs/subwoofer needs.

it doesn't matter if the pre fab box is made of mdf or particle board... ITS STILL A DAMN PRE FAB. lol
