  1. I've had a similar situation.. its like you convince yourself she'll change but you know what man, she won't. none of them do. trust me i made that mistake and lived to regret it. the best thing you can do is surround yourself with other shit, cool people, interesting toys... do something that takes your mind off it. the more time that goes by, the easier it gets. everytime you want to call her or text her or whatever, just think "she isn't thinking about calling or texting me". even if she is, its better that you just put it behind you. and 2 years is a long time but 4 is longer and thats what i dealt with. so i feel your pain bro.
  2. thats a great price for those woofers. i should know, i'm running 4 of them right now. you will not be disappointed. they are extremely underrated, you could feed 1000+ to them and they won't blow... i've done it. however, they need the right box... and it depends what your looking for.. as far as max SPL i would go elsewhere, because if you arent running enough power to them they wont move much air. (the 800 amp you're suggesting should be for just one of those honestly) also i just noticed, your looking at different sizes and different ohm subs. its really up to the install those rockfords are good too.
  3. i like it. of course a custom fiberglass panel looks cleaner but for what you were doing it looks as good as it could possibly. i say great job
  4. this build is sick! you run a shop over in queens? i'd love to give you some business, pm sent!
  5. i dunno steve, it still just says "Please wait while we load the chat" and I get the grey box forever. I can see who is in the room and everything and I can type stuff but no one else can see me and I can't see what they're saying. Maybe its the browser I'm using? (Safari on my macbook)
  6. So what do you think about this I'm running about 3k watts total in a 2007 Honda Accord. I'll be charging with a 220 Amp Mechman Alt. I want to (obviously) replace the stock battery under the hood. Given those parameters, whats the recommended XSPOWER battery? I'm sure someone has a similar setup
  7. Does anyone else have this issue: i can open the chat but it never loads. It just shows the "please wait while chatroom loads" message forever. I'm on a macbook, safari is the browser i'm using... just wanna see if someone has a fix i think the chat is probably pretty cool. Also, I'm on a good internet connection so its not a speed problem
  8. looks sick! im doing a similar panel in mine im tuned in looking forward to it
  9. everyone has great mechanical suggestions here but I had a similar problem with my car. i changed the plugs and put in a cold air intake, changed the oil ect. basically what these guys said. I have a 2007 honda accord and its EPA rated at something like 30 MPG highway. I was getting about 18. I DO have a lot of weight in the car BUT i realized that if i keep the RPMs below 3k the car does substantially better on gas. i know that seems obvious but youd be surprised just how much gas is wasted when you open it up for short bursts constantly.
  10. looks good, hopefully its out soon, I've got 4 amps that need proper gain setting. Steve, if its at or around 100 dollars I'll be the first in line.
  11. Uh guys I posted a question here for weeks ago... then I called and no answer... then I emailed a few days ago and still nothing... anybody getting through to mechman? i wanna give them my business but i cant if they dont respond! lol
  12. good to hear your gonna be working on those towers again they were so SICK but then the updates stopped! caddy looks sweet shame to see it go for now
  13. 10 bucks for 100 zip ties? where they do that at.. hit up Darvex its 1.99 for 100 plus 5% off for us.. but to say something relevant, I'm ordering a mechman JUST BECAUSE of how he handled that guy shit talking his product. it doesnt even matter that so many people have had such good stories
  14. Looking for an alt for an 07 honda accord, the little factory one burnt up. do you guys make anything like this?
  15. i agree this forum is great. very helpful, theres a ton of knowledge between the members. check those ads though, some of them are great sites.
  16. ok just as an experiment i spliced another remote wire right into the one from the head unit and it works perfectly. i may do the relay in the future though, that seems like a good idea. thanks again for all the help guys
  17. yeah dude i kno thanks for looking out. im not really clear about running other batteries though... you don't think i'd need an extra one? it is 4 12s i don't wanna overdraw current.
  18. kranny no need to get so cranky. but thanks for the information i wasn't aware that it was so easy
