  1. most people say the sundown SA or obsidian likes 1000+ rms and shipping is free for sundown from ssa or woofersetc.com so $195 at your door is pretty good
  2. i have seen sealed systems do quite well just remember to order the high QTS and put them in a common enclosure it will seem like more to the speakers. I bet 8 15 inch ssd,s in a dakota will be crazy but the ssd really comes to life @ 1000rms so u would really need 7000+
  3. ya they will send u a new one and if not its only $15
  4. and one of the two i bought didnt work too
  5. its just a remote gain just unplug it and use the gain on the amp
  6. you really cant go wrong fi sundown DC or AQ cant go wrong i cant tell u about the aq 2.5 but the sundown dc and fi are amazing subs for the price the sundown will take 1000 rms easy the fi ssd will take 1600rms easy not sure what u can push the dc to but im sure its 800-1000
  7. aq will be the cheapest but if u plan on upgrading power then i think the sa-15,lvl3-15 or fi ssd will handle more power
  8. go with what ever one u can get the best deal on they are both great amps
  9. yeah that was @ 39hz did a 147.3 @ 47hz though but that score i didnt care about, too high of a freq for me, and it wasnt a certified score so i didnt care to post it lol was this score fully sealed or door or window open? and is the port noisy? the reason i ask is because i might copy your set up
  10. if i used 4 6inch aero's they would be 63 inchs long and would hit the back wall turn down hit the bottom wall then turn again and hit the baffle
  11. Im building a 5cf ground pounding box for 2 12 fi bl's and am wanting to use aero ports but for me to use a 8 inch port the port is longer than the box so i must go with a 6 inch will this be ok it only gives me 28 inchs of port area
  12. the sd-10 will work in a 0.9-1 cf ported? and if i can make the 4 sa-8's work will 1.8-2.0 cf be enough for all of them in a common enclosure ?

I thought high QTS was for sealed? and u might want to get a FI Q as it has superb SQ just upgrade it to handle the power and dont push it too hard im sure it will be fine with cooling and extra spider to handle the power it comes to 299

not to get in a pissing match just i bought them from a store here in canada for 150 each and they have to ship them from the us so i figured half price for used is what you would expect to get but i guess it all depends where u live on what it is worth anyways to get back on topic i would sell ur subs then see if u can make buy a xxx since this is what u really want so I would not settle for anything less http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Car-Subwoofers-And-Enclosures/NEW-RE-AUDIO-XXX15-D2-XXX-15-4000w-SUBWOOFER-XXX15D2/XXX15D2.aspx

u should be able to get 300 for your 8's on here just list them then u got cash to negotiate
  17. Where can i get them used at? I will pay 100 a pop for real its like 150 from the store with free shipping and if u buy used its a 100 lets say with 50 for shipping each just go brand new
  18. i think sa-10s are the best for the price and if u buy from woofersect.com or http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/Sundown-Audio-SA%252d10-Subwoofer.html u get free shipping
  19. got o a apple store they might fix it for free they are pretty good there about these things
  20. bad amp for sure unless u got it wet somehow either way its DONE!!! unless your power and ground is backwards but i doubt u would make that mistake and not realize it by now
  21. yes i would suggest this too remember to get the high QTS for sealed applications and 6cf for the 18 might hit the notes lower
