  1. i'm gonna be bumpin this shit at stop lights blaring loud with the windows down
  2. i think they sound really clean in my personal opinion but the sundown is probably a little bit more cleaner.
  3. well that sub can handle 500 watts. i would run it sealed cause it seemed to get louder in a 4 cubic ft box sealed.
  4. well i think you covered in that department but for the price that you got that sundown you got of gotten 2 of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PLANET-AUDIO-AP3000D-3000-WATT-MONO-CAR-AMPLIFIER-AMP-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ350355993148QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo 2400 watts rms to each xl would be awesome. maybe if you can sell the sundown and get 2 of those cause they do rated at 13 volts and 4800 watts would be slammin
  5. the 2 15's will be hittin pretty hard with 4 cubes for each sub. and what kind of electrical do you have?
  6. i've used that sub on off just 500 watts it sounded like it was on about 1500 watts. and its really clean sounding. if you get the aq 1200 i would get 3 or 4 of them. what vehicle is it going in?
  7. https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154c73f709c0afa/shopdata/0050_Speakers/0030_Q/product_overview.shopscript i would get the fi q 12 with cooling option, extra spider option, high qts option, and make it dual 2 ohm so you can get a 1 ohm load. it should be around $310 shipped. then i would build a 1.25 cubic ft sealed enclosure (saves space) which would cost about $35 to make. then i would get a audiopipe ap1500.1d http://cgi.ebay.com/AUDIOPIPE-AP15001D-1500W-MONO-D-Car-Audio-Amplifier-/350386109025?pt=Car_Amplifiers and that should be a pretty bangin system and it'll sound real clean too here is another great sub that would go great with that audiopipe amp http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=293-658 the lms-r is a really clean sounding sub and has amazing sq but it can still slam also whatever sub you chose i can design you a box for free if you want.
  8. i think the 2 fully loaded ssd 15's on 2400 watts rms with the box i designed will get that kind of bass
  9. a single btl would require you to upgrade your alternator which would cost you some money.
  10. what are the dimensions for your blazer? if you get 1 18 i'd do a fully loaded fi bl 18 or possibly look at a single dc audio level 4 xl. but 2 fi ssd 18's would be great if you could fit them in there
  11. dude if you wanna get 2 12's get 2 fi ssd 12's with bp power and get a AUDIOPIPE AP1800D and that should be hittin harder than the 2 t1's or if you have the money get 2 fi ssd 18's with bp power and that same audiopipe amp and that would be a pretty sweet setup https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154c73f709c0afa/shopdata/0050_Speakers/0040_SSD/product_overview.shopscript
  12. i would do 2 layers of 1/2 inch mdf so you can have a 1" layer of mdf and after displacement each sub would get 2 cubes net exactly with the box being 6 cubes net total. here's a dual 4 re audio srx sub http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/reaudiosrx15d4.aspx i think 3 15's sealed will turn out pretty nice and you'll get pretty loud i checked the fuse rating on your amp and it has 3x35 amp fuses so you your amp will do rated @ 12.5 volts so that amp would be perfect for the 3 15's but i would eventually get a audiopipe 1500d so you can put 500 to each sub. and as for the wiring you need to wire two of the d4 subs in parallel to get a 1 ohm load and then take the 3rd d4 sub and wire it in series to get 8 ohms and then take the 8 ohm load from the 3rd sub and the 1 ohm load from the other 2 subs and wire it in parallel to get a final load of 0.88889 ohms which is close enough to one ohm this should be a pretty nice setup post pics on the build
  13. hey man i've seen your vids on youtube and i think you'd be better off getting a 3rd srx 15 and going sealed because these subs work well with a good amount of port area and you don't have enough space to get the right amount of port area for them to slam but if you went with 3 of them sealed you would give each sub 2 cubes of space after displacement and that would sound awesome and would probably get just as loud as 2 of them ported but if you wanna go ported would do something like this. and yes the total displacement of the 2 subs is 0.32 i looked at the specs on the site. and if you can invert the 2 subs you will get lower tuning and more airspace so if you can try and do that
  14. ^^^ x2 i'd go with those if you can afford it EDIT: or get this http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/Stetsom-V-5K2-E-2-Ohms.html
  15. http://www.woofersetc.com/p7444/CL625CV--CDT-Audio-625"-Convertible-Component-Coaxial-Speaker-System.htm get those they'll smoke the alpine's
  16. ^^x2 those are probably the best components you could get that's in your price range
  17. maybe you should try and get a high output alternator so you can get the full potential out of that amp. and if you haven't done the big 3 go ahead an do that with 1/0 gauge and if you haven't upgraded your battery under the hood i'd get a yellowtop optima battery and possibly a battery in the back and then maybe you won't have to get a new alternator.
  18. dude that setup is sick. i'd try and get a second hifonics amp or get something like 2 audiopipe ap-3000d's
