What amp
blownengine replied to xXsquintyeyesXx's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
This is my second system I'm trying to get the money to buy whatever I need. And I'm also trying to find out what everything is that I'm gonna need and why. Right now I have a kenwood kac-7202 amp and two Rockford fosgate p2 punches. What your doing is like going from high school basketball to the nba overnight, ease into it Maybe not the best analogy, because it has been done before. Lebron? -

Is this your first system? Maybe you should start with something smaller. I don't want to see you drop 2k and blow it all. -

RMS is just like a recommended wattage. 1 watt would make a speaker move, just not alot. Whats your elecrical? Alternator, batteries? -
Are you talking trunk or in a wall?

No offence, but you don't sound like you are near experienced enough to run 2000 watts. -

It's a good idea to run a negative as well. -
4.5 cubic feet sounds a little big for a 15.

Parallel. Positive to Positive, negative to negative. 0 gauge preferably. I would also throw some grounds on the second battery too. -

Biggest one you can cram under the hood. -

Ouch, writting hand is even worse. Daily tasks are all challenges. I laughed at myself alot because I looked stupid doing things. To clean it you can run it under mildly warm water and brush it with a clean gauze pad. Maybe hand soap if you feel up to it. But the LAST thing you want is for it to get infected. -

Neosporin will do fine. Keep the dressings clean and wash it daily. -

Is it your writing hand? It wasn't for me but everything was alot harder. I needed help everytime I took my coat on and off. That was embarrassing asking strangers for help with my coat...... -

Ouch, that sucks. The only time I broke something was my thumb, because I put my hand out so my rib cage wouldn't break. Yes, you have to wear it for that long for it to recover, otherwise it won't heal properly and it'll hurt. Not too sure about the stitches part, but I'm thinking yes. However, they might sedate you slightly (but probably not). And it hurts a bit (depending if the stitches are on an area with a lot of nerves). They didnt give me anything. Its gonna hurt. Bite something and yell. -

Ouch man. I cut my thumb on a table saw a few months ago. First time I ever went to the hospital. 16 stitches in a 2 inch area. They probably gave you some cream to put on the stitches. Be sure to use it. It keeps out bacteria and also keeps the area wet so the stitches dont hurt when they are pulled out. Mine hurt O and I had to go back and have surgery on my thumb because I cut the nerve and tendon. I could hardly move my thumb so they had to do something about it. Still don't have full feeling in my thumb about 4 months later. Probably never will. Good luck!
