Don't know if anyone here knows about her, but like the true music lover I am, I felt the need to spread her music! Her stuff is amazing; I fell in love with it the first song I listened to. Anyway, her name is Tokimonsta. I couldn't tell you if she's relatively new or not, but her uploads have been around for a little over 2 years. Maybe I missed the Toki bandwagon, but either way her music is the shit! Thanks for all the help guys! Well, I'll try putting my redtop that sits at 12.2-12.3 on the charger, but what got me as weird was I put my brand new D1200 on it and t still went up to 15.5... I'll take ray's advice though, hopefully it wont hit the batt's too hard.

Well, it only puts out 10 amps on the fastest charge and when I talked to Mechman when my alt died they told me that lower sitting batteries can hurt alternators. So I want to make sure that im not killing my alt, I can't really afford to send it back because my old alt doesn't fit. I'm trying to get these batteries to the proper sitting voltage so I'm not jeopordizing any of my equipment.

No one? Maybe not even a mod, just a suggestion of a good batter charger that charges properly around 14.4-5 that wont cost me 200 dollars, if possible.

So I'm getting my Mechman 220 installed soon (like tomorrow maybe), and I need to charge my batteries up. I have a Shumacher charger that I got for like 35 bucks with the AGM setting and everything (XC10), but the problem is that the charger charges up to 15.5 volts even on the slowest charge setting. Now, when I got my XS Power battery, there was a big orange flyer that said to not charge AGM batteries over 14.4 volts. Now I am really strapped for cash right now, so I don't have the money to buy a charger that has adjustable voltage and all that. So I am wondering if it is possible to mod a battery chargers output voltage to a fixed voltage, or if anyone has ever done this before. Maybe even if it's not even internally modding the charger, just something to regulate the voltage the charger puts out. I don't want to ruin my batteries. Any help is appreciated!

Just got done watching Bryan/Bryan's match with Karlovic/Moser, and I must say it was an awesome match (Karlovic is one of my favorite players). Wondered if anyone else here is watching it like I am.

Companies advertise like that because dumbasses who don't know what they're doing buy the amp thinking it's the hottest shit since sliced bread, and that it'll go perfect with their "3000 watt competition subs". I've always figured it was just a marketing strategy. EDIT: TO be a bit clearer, they do it to trick people who don't know about RMS ratings into thinking the amp is a powerhouse.

Just got the knu 4 channel RCa's. They're pretty nice. I would buy them again if I had to, they're great on the wallet.

mostly by shop nuthuggers, or people who don't know what the big 3 is, let alone how an alternator even comes into play with car audio...but for the longest time I couldn't tell these people why I wasn't getting a capacitor. Ever since I bought my alternator and my XS batt, I've been getting a flurry of "dude, just get a cap then you wouldn't have to spend all that money" or "man a cap would just cleared up all of that" and sometimes "man if you woulda got a (insert random # of farads) cap you could add more!". Now up until just a few hours ago, I couldn't remember why caps aren't helpful. Then I found this http://www.teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?p=54856 Just to make sure I understood everything correctly, capacitors are ONLY useful if your electrical system is more than capable of handling the current draw from your amp, correct? And even then, caps only help with small spikes in current? I normally blow off the people who tell me I need a cap because I know they don't know what they're talking about, but I wanted to find out just exactly why they wouldn't help me in my situation. It's been bugging me for a while now, and I feel it's something I should add to my knowledge. Hoping someone knowledgeable will chime in here and enlighten me.
