Brands like sony and kenwood are notorious for puting max power ratings everywhere in huge print and rms power ratings in fine print. -Steven-

yeah well, what can I say I know the re xxx is a badass woofer and I said it. I have listened to it up close and personal in one of the people I know's car before he got his shit jacked and then jacked again once he redid it. That is what is keeping me from running one. I never said any fi sub was better sounding than a xxx, even if I did, it is just a matter of opinion anyway. Reviews of either company and any of their subs they make will always differ in opinion based on the person listening to it. -Steven-

That is what he was refering to, it is stated right here in this topic. And if your is birthsheeted at 950 rms that is even better for him, but also they all are different so he might not be getting that much power or might not be running it @1ohm either. -Steven-

Not only do I think The power series stuff is better than punch series anything, it would keep it matching. I think having matching amps add a lot to any system. Not to mention power sereis is badass! I wouldn't have ordered rockford amps for even more money , instead of getting memphis at cost if I didn't believe that they were. -Steven-
