Bb.com Is A Cool Mo-fo
s1795so2 replied to meade916's topic in February 2007 SOTM is BAGGEDBIRDS.COM!
cool can't wait to get it. It will go good with my smd gear. the blem hat will be my replacement for my 7 year old ratty work hat when I am workin on my ride. I just wish you had some shirts bigger than 2xl, all I need is a 3xl to feel comfortable. Let me know when you are going to do one of those pre-order sales again. -Steven- -
I am still debating with myself about what to do to lower it. well, the major thing is it is a comp-g and they have upgraded suspension parts, so it hard to find a lowering kit for it. The baggin it part, I would love to do that, but I have got to finish the system then see how much romm I have for a tank and compressor and everything else. -Steven-

I have 3 sp 1000's bro they are a lot bigger than an hc 800 and all 3 have way more power to back my electrical up than an hc 1400. I also have a 240 amp alt on the way from irragi alt's, so I doubt I need any more electrical upgrades. But in case I need more I will add my sp-1700. The 1.2 expert series caps were free from a trade off of my old hid's, they were bnib and plus they look cool so that is why they are being used. -Steven- -

Shock Sensor Help
s1795so2 replied to goliath's topic in Security Center - Car/Home Alarms, devices, tactics, tips....
there should be a switch that you can adjust like the gains on an amp. Just hafta have an extremly small flatblade screwdriver. It was on all my sensors on my alarm. it will have a + to show you which way to adjust up and a - to show you which way to adjust sensitivity down. -Steven- -
hey slinky where you live at, I am close to st. louis if you come down I will show you all the places to set off alarms, haha. Let me know man. we will have to organize an SMD STL (midwest) meet up -Steven-
-
I don't know if it was my system in my old truck or the exhaust setting the alarms off, so I never got satisfaction of know my system set off alarms.

HEY! I am the only one that can get excited about my box build. HA J/K J/K guys. I have given Steve the okay to do anything he wants w/ it, as far as building, but I want it to be "basic" on the outside just so people aren't expecting it to knock their heads off. That is all I am going to say. I will let him post the rest of the time. -Steven-

That right there is why he isn't all into hiring you. Show him you are serious and want to help him out in return for helping you. He is thinking that you are just going to learn and then bounce and not do anything for him in return. Show him you want to help him, while he is helping you learn. Hell if you just want to learn, offer to help clean for free, in return for learning a few things. -Steven-

ok so i got the video and I think it is a decent one. Sorry bout the amateur photography skills, but it is the first time I made a video with this camera. I tried to get mirror shake, but it didn't really do anything. If you look you can see the background go blurry pretty good. When I go in the car you can tell it is loud as hell, its no Tommy's type r but it is freakin loud. We will see how long this lil 10" q lasts in a daily driver on an approx 1600 watts from a sundown audio amp. Oh yeah and get ready because I am going to reveal what is going in it soon, but it may change even sooner to a bigger surprise. As soon as my tl comes in I will get this metered. Here is the vid, you can stop watching it as soon as I shut the car off, it goes on an extra 20 seconds of nothing. Edit x 100: Cant upload the video it just takes to the sign in on photobucket. Someone please help me damn. -Steven- -

Any Recommendations On Some Shallow Mount 10's?
s1795so2 replied to sean 371's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
I dont think he means the shallow mount p3's chode, unless your asking him what depth he has to work w/? I am pretty sure he has about 5 1/4" to play w/ on mounting depth. -Steven- -
Oh well, I didn't have my sound on. Anyways, like I said we will be hearing a explanation because I am pretty sure he is a member here, unless there is another guy w/ a silver impala and a type r 15 on here. Oh well I will keep an eye on this thread to see if ol dude shows and decides to explain himself. -Steven-

Any Recommendations On Some Shallow Mount 10's?
s1795so2 replied to sean 371's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
I have seen 5.25" of mounting so I know it is possible w/ 3/4" mdf, in the titan. If you have at least 5" of mounting depth do memphis m-class 10's, they don't require much airspace either. These subs sound badass and can handle a lot more than advertised. Memphis reps say they can handle 400 cont. and be beating the hell out of them and they are fine. I had 600 running to mine and I beat the hell out of them for a year with that power and they were still going strong, but I sold my truck and took them out. All in all the amp he has would be perfect for these subs. Plus these subs are not that expensive for the quality of them. -Steven- -
