did you check your air filter to see if somethings blocking the air flow? They're relatively cheap, and if yours hasn't been replaced in awhile and if it's pretty dirty, you may want to replace it.

yeah i do the same thing. do you know what type of transmission is in your truck? might want to look around and see if you can get a heavy duty trans the next day around..

do you drive the piss out of your truck?

sounds like they're either installing something wrong/forgetting to do something. what do they say the cause of the problem is each time they replace it?

I have a Kenwood BT945U and it plays and charges my iPod at the same time. I'm pretty sure most, if not all headunits do that aswell.

Take the sub out, play it free air for a little and see if you still hear the noise. I know my car developed a squeak in the rear deck after a month of me getting my 12...I still can't find it, but to drown it out, I just turn it up a little louder. Problem solved! Something in your car probably just started getting loose from the bass.. edit; ninja'd

terminals to what? I'm guessing he has bolts going through his MDF box, and then connecting the subs up that way; and the negative bolt has a burn mark on the MDF. I don't know why it's doing this, but for some reason when my friend grounded his amp to the strut tower in his car, the bolt and ring terminal got pretty damn hot too, only on the ground side...the positive side was cool as room temp...very weird.

Well, that US Amps is going to be a LOT better than my Eclipse 3322 that overheats ever so quickly.. I have the gains set right and all, it just loves to get hot..i dont know why

Well, I won the amp for $71. Good deal? I'd think so, especially because it retails for $150+. Next on my list is an MB Quart DSC 4125 lightly used, max bid atm is $50, ends in 8 hours.

I'd order the 5000k HID kit from ddmtuning. It's what I've got in my car, and there's a definite hint of blue in there....it's very white, but there's a hue of blue. It looks great, and it's very bright. As you know, the higher you go up in Kelvin, the less Lumens (brightness) output there is. If you order the 5000k, get 35w..it will show blue more than the 55w kit will.

Yeah..cash is very tight right now. I finally got called for an interview at my local Food Lion, going in on Monday..so hopefully I'll be getting some money coming in so I can keep on upgrading. I just had to buy new headlights for my car because the dumb ass girl that parks across from me in my school's parking lot backed into my passenger side...and cracked my headlight..and of course you can't buy just ONE projector headlight...fml. There's $150 out the door...I had to buy an amp kit for my car, the kit they have on knukonceptz for like $45 or $50 bucks.. My dad actually got me what I have right now in my car for christmas...I absolutely love him for it. It was a great start, and I'm starting to want louder already...dammit! haha. and it just keeps getting that way haha. Yeah unfortunately...lol In my car I'll probably only be able to fit 2 15's max, so unless I get a truck..that'll probably be as loud as I'll be able to go in this vehicle. I don't know who pissed in your cornflakes this morning...but I never once said, nor thought your answer wasn't useful. I understand buying 50' of wire would be cheaper; and I did see that option before I selected the one you order perfoot, but I'd rather only purchase what I need for my application, rather than having wire laying around...I also don't have $88 to spend atm.. I'm not that much of an idiot to think I'd get 12 1' pieces of wire, btw..I just wanted to make sure..as it wasn't listed on the website. But don't worry, I'll make sure to not ask you for help in the future, if you're going to be that way.

hey guys...quick and easy question for y'all... on knukonceptz.com looking at some 1/0 gauge wire for doing my big 3...is the pricing for the wire per foot? So let's say I need 12 feet of wire..i would do quantity (12)?
