W6's have been the only sub I like from them is the w6's they've always seemed to do good. The amps also have been real good and not really many problems out of them. If the internet didn't whore out all the audio equipment from wholesale sites JL would be well worth the money.

I'm pretty partial to the rockford t2 but that's just me I love mine and everyone customer who gets them loves them and if it's in the right box it should slam but could use a little more power than the arc.

Got one in Martinsville coming up for meca Richmond has a couple small ones and but really meca are the better ones just search their site.

Unless my rockford rep who was in two weeks ago lied they still are together the 2012 line should be pretty decent though.

Lighting is a cheaper spin off from rockford like tma from Jl some of their older stuff was good but there newer stuff is alot like the prime series stuff just branded different.

They have the same rms but if your throwing your box in see if you can get a little cash on top.

Try out a crx I love mine for a dd. They are pretty quick to.

I posted the wiring if the factory has just been cut but the wiring is still in tact if not then the code won't really help. Ignition is the better way to go but it's also more trouble for some people. The fuse box is a pretty easy quick fix.

You can also go to your fuse box and use a test light to see which is constant and switched and usally a 10 amp would be fine. I,ve done it to a couple trucks always come out good but i've seen some that didn't lol. But i think 33's would be a better option for you until you get a suspension lift. What kind of wheels are you looking at for your truck?
