I'd go with the SSD, mainly because its rated at 1000 watts now and the SA is rated at 600 watts. It would be easier to over power the ssd compared to the SA

Within the same line of subs, three 12's will have a little more cone area. Just going by the Fi Q, you have 1240cm^2 for four 10's, and 1440cm^2 for three 12's. Awesome! ill save a little money and have more cone area. 3 12's it is!

are you putting it in your trunk? why not just get a BTL 15? or yeah a BL 18 if you really want an 18.

Yeah they would last longer too and I could wire to 1 ohm instead of messing with .66 or 1.33 thats without all the other variables as well, so each woofer would likely be seeing 7-800 watts-ish. (four 10's)

I'm set on getting SA 10's or 12's. Debating on 4 SA-10's in ~5 cube box at 30 Hz, or 3 SA-12's in a similiar box with an 6" aero to the side with 3-4 inches of open space on drivers side, or two 4" aeros to the back of the hatch . Car is 2000 cougar hatchback.. gonna be pushing a crescendo bc3500 hopefully by the end of summer. Money is tight, so was wondering if the cone area of the 12's would be able to match up with the 10's well? I'm sure the SA-12's will be able to handle the 1000-1300 watts, but I wont play them that loud everyday. Again, I'm trying to get another part time job so I can pay for all this stuff, but I have a BTL 15 I will sell to pretty much trade for the SA's. Any recommendations would be awesome, thanks!
