cant i just connect the stock batt up front to a xs or kinetic in the back? yes you can.. but with 2k rms i still think you are going to have some bad voltage drop even with an extra battery.. how bad? i mean its only 2k... I would think voltage would be alright as long as i add a batt

Im buying a 2001 Toyota Celica GT in a month, and im puttin a nice big system in it. Probably gonna be a Audioque HDC3 18" on around 2000rms. Thinkin of either a Crescendo BC2000, AQ2200d, or an American Bass HD3500. What should my elecrical system be looking like? Will i be fine with stock alternator, stock batt up front and kinetic in the back? Which Kinetic should i get?

actually, it looks to me like you need twice as much port area.

sounds good, but if IMO, i would go 4 cubes net to fill out those lows a little more. That's just me though.

American Bass HD 1500 with an epic price tag FTW.

i wouldnt do the kicker. I would check out Rockford R500-1, or ebay the American Bass SQ1150m. Ebay says it does 700 rms, but i've owned it and the manual says it does 350 @ 1 ohm. And its a stupid cheap price.

the new FI SSD 12s and 15s are very reasonably priced, and can handle 1000+ watts

id say just 1 dc level 4 12 or a fi BL 12 on a audioque 1200d. or check out the american bass 80.1, i got it and i love it, does about 1200rms, some have been clamped at 1600+ rms, and decently priced.

what kind of music do you listen to? you looking for spl or sq? trying to make the most out of the space you have? rap, spl, and yes its Trunk bass. but seats will be down and having subs and port firing at dash. id say 2 12s in a box tuned nice and low. if the trunk is NOT sealed off, ALWAYS face the subs and port to the rear for way louder bass.

I met up with Jodie and ha hooked me up with a mean 8" aero alot like yours. I was just wondering what you think my best options were for putting it together? Gorilla tape maybe? I drive a trunked car and im kinda limited on space. I cant run ports back, subs back. do you think there would be a gain or a loss if i ran subs front, port back? Or should I just put the port on the side on the box...
