  4. Im looking for a HO alt for a 05 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.7l hemi the stock 135 amp alt is just not big enough. I have looked around online only finding a alt from someone i have never heard of. I was looking for so help or idea as to what alt would work well in the factory alt place im wanting one in the 250-300 amp range cause this would work well with the new system goin in to this Truck. If anyone has mechmans email so i can see what he can do for me that would be great i wasnt able to find it.

  6. try that and do you have the paint craped clean from all your ground (that was my problem)
  7. I had the 07 and liked their looks but yes they where great subs dollar per db
  8. ya go with the pioneers they sound good and will handle the power you have to give them plus they are in your price range (i personally would go with CVRs but u dont want them to each his own)
  9. run The sundown amp its the best amp for th job and gives you plenty of head room i used to own a set and they worked fine on 600rms but i played them for almost a year with near twice that with a alpine amp

  11. hey welcome to the fourm and dont worry to much about the kicker comps i have a set of 12's and im running 600wrms to them and have been for three years and thier still working great
  12. thats a shame to here that someone messed up that install. I know how you feel i had a in dash installed at a local shop and they dropped something on the faceplate and where going to charge me to replace it so from their on i do it myself. This site will defiantly help you with any info you need to know whether you are a noob or a long time pro

  14. FI are a good solid brand never heard anything bad about them im a DD fan myself but that brutus amp would be where i would start from find a sub you can power well with that amp and go from their. spend a little more one the amp cause even a cheaper sub will still hit good if powered well
