  2. Indeed... blown 100.2 from Florida. Only has UPS store address and no paperwork at all. Need some information
  3. I am basing it off caraudio.com sales prices - which I watch on a regular basis for the trade-in program. http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.p...light=SAX-100.2 200/185 http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.p...light=SAX-100.2 165 http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.p...light=SAX-100.2 200 http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.p...t=Sundown+100.2 175 http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.p...t=Sundown+100.2 150 An average figure seems to be 175 to me I sell good condition used 100.2s for ~200 when I have them. --- As for the 1500D I was agreeing with James that 325-350 was a reasonable used price and seems to be the average. A mint condition 1500 with new casing can fetch 375-400 on occasion, though,
  4. I haven't seen 100.2s that cheap, honestly. I've seen them more around 175 or so. On the 1500D that is pretty much right, though
  5. Going to a show tomorrow so the head-liner has to go back in temporarily. I am still 1.0 dB ahead of my best Nightshade score to date with the head-liner back in
  6. Tomorrow is the last day for the $425 price!
  7. The real question is... does DC have a web-site ?
  8. I am keeping a more detailed log in my Sundown section if you want to keep following for more results: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...=42380&st=0 After the shows this weekend I am going back to the single 3000D to continue my log on SPL gains vs. each section I dampen.
  9. 151.1 dB base-line score with interior out with one Nightshade 15" and One 3000D: Roof covered with one layer Second Skin Damplifier. RESULT : 151.5 dB ------ All at 50 Hz so far as this has always been my frequency. I thought that perhaps the dampener may have changed the frequency so I did some testing: 48 Hz - 150.7 dB 52 Hz - 151.9 dB 53 Hz - 152.0 dB 54 Hz - 151.9 dB 55 hz - 151.6 dB Frequency is up 3 hz to 53 hz now. Counting the gain from frequency change I am now up 0.9 dB total. ------ I am getting ready for two shows this weekend so I put in four SAZ-1500Ds: 154.3 dB -- this is 1.3 dB higher than my previous best score with a single Nightshade 15" ------ So... Second Skin Damplifier for the win for SPL!
  10. Indeed After all is said and done I'll be working a new dual sub box as well - which means I need to re-build the entire amp rack area to fit it in there!

  12. I have still only done ONE LAYER on the roof I have not started using the dampener that just showed up today. --- BASS14, Right here : http://www.secondskinaudio.com/vibration-mat/damplifier.php
  13. * Four SAZ-1500Ds installed * All of my new dampener!!! * First burp - HU Sub Control at +0 * Second burp - HU Sub Control at +3 * Third burp - HU Sub Control at +3 / One Hour Charge time on the batteries (lunch break) ----- I am 1.3 dB louder than my previous best ever score with a single Nightshade 15!!! Not bad if you ask me... not bad at all.
  14. My dampener got here early - it is here today! In the mean-time the Jeep needs to be ready for two shows this weekend so I am putting four 1500Ds in for that purpose. My previous best score with a single Nightshade 15" with two 3000s @ 1/2 ohm (similar power to the four 1500s @ 1/2 ohm each) was 153.0 dB. We'll see how I compare with the dampening done so far. In order to keep to the scientific method I won't apply more dampener until I get back from the shows and re-install the 3000D. But I can go back at the end and compare at high power once again once all the dampening is done!

  16. Only five more days for the $425 price!
  17. We will no longer re-cone other brand woofers. Please do not ask. I suggest the following people / companies for re-cones : David Moore -- [email protected] Nick @ Incriminator - [email protected] FI Car Audio Thanks,
  18. Indeed... my front doors are WEAK too. So I may end up gaining some tremendous SPL by the time I am done!

  20. Shipped from Arizona yesterday I believe... so probably next Wednesday to Thursday.
  21. I am out of dampener so I am playing around a bit with other stuff... My peak did changed already : 48 Hz - 150.7 dB 52 Hz - 151.9 dB 53 Hz - 152.0 dB 54 Hz - 151.9 dB 55 hz - 151.6 dB Frequency is up 3 hz to 53 hz now. Counting the gain from frequency change I am now up 0.9 dB total.
