haha yeah i thought i was done to but i will be DONE with THIS car its a small convertable and alreay fighting hell to change the v-belt to ribbed get a alt to fit ect but i think i will go with the lvl 4s ... can i get a price quote on 2 lvl4 12s with D1 coils ? i have a feeling they will be alot more $$ than my old choice of t3 audio

i have no plans on upgrading to a bigger amp in THIS CAR so would it be possible ( see price quote thread ) to make like an upgraded lvl 3 haha dont know about subwoofer making so kind of noob

ok so i really wana get two dc lvl4 subs powered by a t1500-1dbcp at 2ohms it puts out 1700@2 and 1901@1 so i would really like to run it at 1ohm ... soooo is it possible to get a lvl 4 with D4 or D1 ohm coils ??!!?!? EDIT ... what would be better cuz i know dc subs can handle more than rated ... 2x lvl3 or lvl4 on 1900RMS ??

looking for a good SMALL EQ for my car the smaller the better but im sure i can make any size work, never used an EQ but would like better options for my music other than radio ... the radio i want is a 2v output and also would like the EQ to have 4v output !! LET ME KNOW !!!

all amps work the same way ... they are like a car ... it will only go as fast as the air and fuel you give it. same with an amp it will only give out as much power as you give it voltage and all rockford amps are tested at 14.4 volts but they put out way more than rated ... i have a t1500-1dbcp and its birth sheet said 1909 at 1ohm so at a lower voltage i know it will put out ~1500 but you want to ideally keep your voltage a good high number for best performance

but your sig says you already have room? 2 reference 8" drivers? lol they are in boxes in the back not up front where i want them ... that system is gone now haha redoing the whole car and front stage will be CDT 3way http://cdtstore.com/cl_series/cl632.htm and only subs in the back

when i go to build my box ( once i get me a table saw ) i will be using 3 layer birch ... seems like it will be lightest due to less glue in between layers and still strong !! i hate mdf !

thank you soo much !!! i am actually going to have the ports vertical instead or horizontal but thank you soo much glad to see what its basic idea is and i figured out the angle of the front 83.2 degrees i think thats what it was i cant remember i have it written down !! thank you VERY MUCH !!! super appreciate it !!!
