  1. since the 2 crossovers are pre wired into the wire could i just run both crossovers and wire them in parallel ? kind of like this
  2. ok so i got 2 sets of orion components all 6.5 and each set has a set of wires with built in crossovers, i am running 2 speakers on one channel of the amp in parallel, could i run both sets off of just one of those crossovers?
  3. looking for this build posted while ago where the guy did all his metal work with a router and used copper tube for speaker wire ect, it was a sick build and cant find it. someone help meh
  4. ive heard good things about edead its 1$ per sq/ft just ordered 100 sq/ft ill let you know how it turns out when i get it
  5. have 2 regular switches in the 2 areas you want, run the power wire from the neon lights to both switches and 12v source to both switches. that would be the simplest way,
  6. e-dead is peel and seal. i will be running 1KW total power 300Watts of subwoofer, i dont need much lol
  7. if you need cheap im getting stuff called e-dead dont know how good it is, ive heard good things but its 1 dollar per sq/ft

  9. looking to buy 25/ft of 1/0 power wire/welding cable, any color, looking to spend as little as possible, let me know
  10. yeah i was thinking that, right now i have my battery moved from engine bay to trunk and im running really bad wire, its cheap 1/0 but not AWG so its like 2gauge i will try rewireing and getting good 1/0 and see what happens, right now i am using an optima red top/ what would be a good sized XS ? the D925? If i had ok power wire would just upgrading the battery ground to better wire make a difference?
  11. i am only running 1000 watts total system and the alternator is a v-band belt and the belt would not be able to move a very high output alternator, only a 1.6L engine and the belt is very small, so only need 150 AMPS, stock alt is 70 amps >.<
  12. was wondering if mechman can make a 150 amp alternator for a 1992 Mercury Capri XR2?
  13. i dont know whats funnier, the video or the comments on the video !!!!
  14. WOW OMG that video is insane !!! how does his windsheild not break !!! WTF !!!!
  15. not an artist at all but could do something along these lines Front Back
  16. thank you !!! *blush it was kind of a disaster in the background ... i had resin all over my hands i didnt cut the fiber glass small enough so i had bubbles EVERYWHERE there were fiber glass strands COVERED on the brush , the handle , the cup , it was just ... terrible ... it was super cold out so the resin like clumped up INSTANTLY ( i think it was the cold ) hopefully my next layers go ALOT smoother
  17. thanks i guess i will be adding a couple more layers of fiberglass to make everything rock solid and fill in all the holes. i will be just sanding super smooth and painting no vinyl.
  18. ok so i put speaker in to see how it sounded and i have alot of little holes to fill at the edges no big deal but also the pod sounds very resonant i think that's the right word ... like the pod needs to be more dense ... how can i do that ? would the bondo help that and would filling pod with poli fill remedy that along with little more bass from poli fill ?
  19. thanks it was my first time didnt really know what i was doing lol finished my doors will have 2x 6.5 orion components ... im sporting all orion speakers and Rockford amps going with the underdog speakers does bondo create a smell like fiberglass resin does ??? i had no idea the resin had such a strong sell and my house smelled for a couple days ... >.< when i did the last layer outside i think thats what make id not smooth because from the cold the resin got clumpy rather quick ...
  20. sick build !!! hope to soon be able to be a grass roots bass head as good as yourself as i learn and progress !!! always have respected your work and just facepalm at all the haters on youtube that dont know the work, commitment, dedication, and love that you put into your cars
