ok my car does not have power locks dont need remote start would like a nice alarm for a fair price with dome light sensor, shock sensor, and proximity sensor, dont need locking stuff or engine disable ... anything you guys have in mind ?

I ran some p1s in a sealed and a ported and I liked the ported ... deeper bass louder imo

thank you SOOO much wenn ... i just took the speakers out so that i can redo the spacers and i will put back in and play that song and see what happens from there if i notice a difference then i will be waiting to get sound deadener .... fatmat seems liek the cheapest but good so i will be using that stuff

as of right now its 1 6.5 per door will be making another pod where map pocket was for another one that panel is removable so makes it simple and im using the orion cobalt line. polarity is good they are diff size crimps for diff polarity, the HPF is set to 80hz on HU and crossover on amp is set to ALL

spacer was made form 3/4 mdf and it seemed like a poor fit so i will be remaking that and getting a better sealer for speaker so i can isolate all air into door panel .... hopefully the other half will get my hints and get me a 25sqft of fat-mat for xmas :-) i will be able to deaden the doors and that should make a difference

fiberglass enclousure for inside the stock location ?

ok i have a 6.5 woofer component set in the stock door place and the bass is gone 0 bass no sound .... speaker moves alot so its making the bass but the sound is not there ... its mounted with a spacer i made to go from 5/14 t0 6.5 and i will be remaking that again but could just a bad spacer make all the difference ??? what are some things i can do to get more bass from the stock door locations ?

i know but would i just tap the wire into other one pos to pos neg to neg ?

I have 2 sets of component speakers and the crossover is built into the wire and how would I run then in parallel to an amp both components are 4ohm wand to run 2 components at 2ohm to the amp how would I wire them ??

I learned to never use a codless battery drill battery a 9v bayyery is better to test less chance of damage to sub

idk i almost used a 5 channel amp ( got car broken into the day i bought it ... all mounted never wired up) never used em but i would say depends on what you want to run on the mono ... usually 5 channels dont have a very high 5th channel wattage for beefy subs just giving my .02 of what i have seen i am not at all an expert tho

i have a set of orion cobalt series components 50 WRMS at 4 ohms i will be runnign a second set to run on my rockford p400-1 since each channel can support 100WRMS at 2ohms and so far i love them i need to work on the doors because the bass is lacking but overall i have thrown alot at them with no problems

the box has ports going from top to bottom all 3/4" and then another 3/4" on top covered in vinyl then i have rubber washers on bottom. amp is p300-1 punch and those things i hear are GREAT with cooling. would that setup be ok when i decide to upgrade to possibly Fi.SSD 10s ?

I have my subwoofer box and i am using another piece of mdf and rubber spacers to mount amps on top of box would that be ok ?

i know that but if i was to use them could i just wire the power and ground in parallel to them like the batteries in pic above. BTW i love the picture when i can afford new batt and get more power i will do that.

how much average is like a 150 amp alt ? and would that be enough power for a 400watt rms 300 watt rms and add little more wiggle room for upgrade later ?

well i got both caps for 23 dollars new at best buy there are just 1Farad caps no volt meter i already have a battery in the back relocated from the front optima red top and i have been using one and it made a big diff in voltage drop. i did some reading and if i wanted to ad another battery i would have to get another red top and would that put more strain on the charging system than 2x1farad caps ? let me know if it wont hurt my little 70 amp alternator, if i could upgrade the alt i would but no one makes upgraded alts for mercury capri XR2 if i was to get another battery am i correct on it having to be a red top since that is what i use now ? and how would i go about wiring it up next to the stock one ?

you can never go wrong with 4ga wire !! i only have a 400watt rms and 300watt rms amp and i still run 4ga ... never hurts and never have a problem with voltage drop or heat
