  1. This guy is from New England currently in MA but hes from Tamworth, NH representing the new england. This is my boy and we make it big, this song friggin POUNDS and doesnt clip. Also has a few songs with Maine-o. http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9747853
  2. ok new design HAS to be slot design want woofer ontop of box and slot on bottom middle of box 35hz @ 4cft with proper port area please thanks guys. I prefer the box to be as rectangular as possible within a 35w x 20 x 20 one slot shall suffice 4.5net will work if it must
  3. They won't do 1500rms surely that was probably @ 14.4v constant on perfect power with a good box. If you build a good tuned box to two of these 12's (4 would be loud as fuck) the I'd probably only suggest the 1000bd if you go with two of them or three if you go with 4 just get an audiopipe 3000d they're cheap and do rated @ 16v (lol as if most people have that electrical anyways.) I bet you can squeeze 800rms per 12 outta a 3000ap
  4. Droids are way better than iphones same applies for HTC's and Androids. Apple just got expensive and cheap real quick like they did with their computers.
  5. I dont know max dimensions were just kind of shooting for it concidering its only 1 15 requiring 4fct (which is nothing in your average SUV) If I go any bigger in dimensions my volume goes up a lot and I dont want the box too big. but I dunno id say 35w x 25h x 20d is the max I can go.
  6. 0.17 Displacement 35hz @ 4cft NET 12cubic inches per cubic ft in port The closest I can get is 37hz @ 4cft etc. I want the subwoofer AND ports on top and I want one slot port on each side of the subwoofer. can anyone help me? Im using chris torres calc btw.
  7. The subwoofers creator dave said 5 cubes @ 35hz is prime enclosure, its only 1600RMS its not a BTL lol
  8. thanks can anyone suggest a good way to run 1500RMS @ 1OHM with around 14.4v stable? I was thinking an XS Power Cell 1200, Big III & some cheap delco 180a alternator (just for now until I can contact DC for a good one) do I NEED that alternator or do I need a module for my 95 jeep?
  9. bump any type of input would be appreciated D: I know its not groundpounder but it's getting there.
  10. It would work like a direct lead so yeah I'd suggest 10g/8g it will work temporarily.
  11. Just save the $100 to get it brand spanking new...
  12. Haha it loved it as much as we did and if you couldn't tell we were baked lol, and yes I got more coming be patient my internet sucks and so does youtube
  13. Weed Trick the bag on the right is heavy (like 5x heaver than a piece of paper, I coudla had my window open more but my boy richies nose was tickling too bad so I had to shut it down, only @ 45hz too :-/ moves more air @ 38hz. Mids and Highs, 4 Pioneer 6.5's, 2 1" Pioneer Tweets, Kicker KX600.4, Pioneer DEH4200UB
  14. I didnt make a build log cause I have a lot to do this is just temporary for now but it friggin wangs and sounds good, all my stuff is in my signature. Thanks to youtube it took me 4 months to upload this video so here you go its the first video of my new subwoofer/amplifier setup. If someone wants to help imbed my youtube go ahead Build Log coming, im making a new box Box in video is: 35hz @ 5cft net and around 70cin of port double baffled etc. I'm running an AP1500.1D right now @ 1 OHM (around 1300RMS on the DMM) Due to voltage drops I couldn't go ahead and get the second AP1500.1D I know these amplifiers aren't rated and they're power hungry only delivering @ 14.4v but for the price you can't beat them and they push my PSI's great. New Videos coming as soon as I upload. New Box coming as well 34hz @ 5.5cft NET 90cubic inches of port area 6.4 cubes gross will fit snug behind my rear seat and is short enough to leave me room to figure out a good amplifier rack

  18. That could potentially be the reason why you cooked them... Might I add, did you set the gain with a DMM obviously not, you did SOMETHING wrong to cook them eigther over-powered or clipping or both. Voltage drop causes clipping which causes distortion which kills woofers (quicker then over powering if I might say so.) I would invest in a Voltage Meter or something because 2kwrms is not good on stock electrical, you're lucky if you're even seeing 2000rms with stock electrical. I would deffinatly invest in an XS 1200 or something in the same price range.
  19. Guys stop being mean to the guy, damn the elitist shit gets carried away, he's obviously stupid we all know that... LOL just messing but bro seriously need more information. We need to know EVERYTHING pictures help too. Are these brand new, have you tested the Voice Coils by reading the speaker terminals with a DMM @ ohms? Coulda be a faulty amplifier/woofers or something easy that you havn't figured out, is the headunit SW settings turned ON?
  20. I have a Kicker KX600.4 in 10/10 condition all around looking for about $125 for it.
  21. Sooo why dont you just send it back? dude sent you bunk product I wouldn't recone it lmao... Anyways yeah the best bet is having someone else do it cheap and/or buy a DC dustcap.
  22. Some including myself would prefer to have someone like Scott or Dave do the re-cone, but then again its weak sauce they don't make kits :-/
  23. Steve my man, me and my boys from New England (Maine/New Hampshire to be specific) have started a team called Team SubZero I even contacted Jeremy from Sanford Maine (the one you sent the AA mayhem to) and he's joining the team as well. We're the only team I've seen in the NESPL on here and we have active members on the forum, I was just requesting a private for us thanks.
  24. and you'll pay out the ass... If you don't care much for the JL logo you could hit up Dave from Fixmyspeaker.com I bet he could do it for HALF the price of JL.
