  1. never heard of em, but just looking at the specs from their website 3300 @ 1 ohm but only 4600 @ 2 ohm strapped seems kind of strange. also the 20-55hz response is eh?..
  2. i've always liked the skullcandy titans best. most bass i can find out of earphones, very good sound quality to me, does a wonderful job of blocking out almost all outside noise. i've tried pretty much all the skullcandy ear buds and the rockford punch plugs, titans still my fave.
  3. here no 1/0 or 2/0 but they have other sizes. shipping should be around 6 dollars.
  4. i was having similar problems. sundown 3500 @ .5 270 xp, 3 d3100s. redid my big 3, added an engine block/alternator ground to bat -. added more runs between my two back batteries as well, helped a lot. still haven't added a ground to my second back battery. check for belt slip, beef up your grounds. dunno if this would help but maybe try taking the yellowtop out? *edit - i struggle with english at times...
  5. i think it does. on the installation page it says "if you purchase a crossover network for your woofer/midrange/tweeter system you do not need to connect condenser" "if your system does not include a crossover network, you must connect condenser" http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14291_Pyramid+TW18.html on the fourth picture the condenser is the little black round tube thing attached to the terminal. *edit - i think that's the condenser at least lol. don't see what else it could be *edit again - it's a pair. and they get stupid loud. even with 4 l7 12's on a sundown 3500 i still had to turn them down. maybe im just not used to highs but i think you'd be happy with them. read the reviews on sonic, all positive.
  6. no idea lol. description says "It comes complete with capacitor, crossover network, & swivel housing." this is the pyramid website for it but it's kinda lacking in info http://www.pyramidcaraudio.com/itempage.asp?model=TW18 ill go take a look at the box
  7. i dont have much experience with tweeters but i have 4 of these in my suv and they sound pretty damn good to me. can get loud as hell, i have them turned down quite a bit, otherwise it gets kinda painful. http://www.amazon.com/Sound-Around-TW18-Pyramid-3-25-Inch/dp/B0007L8AA4/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1291285286&sr=8-7 black version is a bit more expensive http://www.amazon.com/TW18BK-3-25-Inch-Aluminum-Die-Cast-Titanium/dp/B000CQIRD4/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1291285286&sr=8-6 amazon ships to australia http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=596190&
  8. i tried to before but i never got any replies on it and it went nowhere, maybe i was just trying a bad site. right now i just buy them at the airport (international flight) mild sevens are so damn good. plus its like 15 bucks a carton. only bad thing is limit of 2 per trip. occasionally have friends bring some back if they can but otherwise i just suck it up and get raped by high cig prices
  9. i couldnt help but crack up on that leg lift video. lol, thats just stupid ridic. no xplode sucks... all it does is give me gas and make me wanna shit lol.
  10. lol, in the background "godddammmnnn"
  11. nice! awesome youre getting started so early
  12. just got on, that was the first thing i noticed, darker lettering. not sure about the graphics but the text definitely does look different
  13. i spee-kuh enguh-rish too. lol thats a bit beyond what i can read
  14. my chinese sucks but i know 我知己的朋友 is something like "my close friend"
  15. lol, not quite, i did go through almost two bottle/thingers of titebond whatever wood glue though. and 3-4 tubes of caulking. hafta get creative when proper tools aren't there. my jigsaw hates me, didnt like cutting the double baffle luckily i found some nice people from midwestspl that are letting me use their garage/tools if i need. be nice not having to drive over an hour do any enclosure work and have proper equipment for once.
  16. its a pain in the ass though lol. also takes so much longer than it should. my only electric tools are a jigsaw and a drill lol. found a circular saw in the basement after i was pretty much finished with everything though. cut the holes out for the subs trying to hold the wood still with one hand and the jigsaw in the other while it was vertical. hopefully someday ill have some spare cash to spend on some decent tools. 25 dollar jigsaw woooh!
  17. just the factory belt, works great. i dont know much about alternators but im guessin if there was slip id notice it. as for the box, im doing a new one again lol. wall with 6 *edit oooh didnt notice a fellow yota owner!! dont see many 4runners around here.
  18. why thank ya, think the port might be a bit too big though lol. think im upgrading soon though lol. may be leaving the country soon so if i can ship my car ima either do 6 l7s in a proper wall or 8 in a clamshell wall.
  19. ive only built two boxes but lining up the boxes predrilling, glueing, then screwing has worked great for me. the screws clamps the wood together while the glue dries. dont really hafta worry about getting 90 degrees or not being to do anything else while waiting for it to dry
  20. anyone know if this would be be better facing backward? im not sealing the edges or top off. thanks!
