It's cool man.. In my opinion, no, no real downside to a long lasting design. Albeit, maintenance is important, as well as proper use... Anything can break sooner than it should if not used correctly. Perhaps the only drawback would be a higher initial cost to get into, but then again, buy once = cry once.. one expensive suppressor is most likely cheaper than 2 so so ones, so you would still be better off in the long run. Our cans arent going to be super exotic, or made from crazy materials, but we are still expecting them to have no problem outlasting 2 or 3 barrels, which again, not many people shoot that much, so realistically our cans should last a lifetime. I am still learning about suppressor design, and so is the owner/head builder, but we feel we have some very nice designs in the works, and once our paperwork shows up, we will be build a couple different styles in the calibers we are planning to offer, and then lots of testing (ie shooting) to check longevity and which design we feel to be the best to offer. R and D and field testing shit has got to be the best part of this job... At this time, I elieve we are planning on offering 5.56, 7.62, 9mm, and .22lr.. with the ability to build others in the near future. Things are slow going as we dont have a huuuuge budget and have been so swamped with build AK's and gunsmith work, but the ball is rolling. Hopefully next week I am going to have time to start building my wife's AK... should be fun, going to do a nice lightweight, wood furniture, classic looking rifle for her, keep it simple and nice and light.. aiming for ~ 6.5 lbs fully loaded and ready to shoot. It looks we are caught up on the first batch of AK's we sold, so now I can build more toys for me. Im wrapping up a nice Para p13 build for a friend tonight, has a few minor mods, and a wicked duracoat job, sprayed down a handful of ak assemblies last night in matte black (over a parkerized finished) and my G17 might get a bitchin duracoat job this weekend as well... maybe Ill quit being such a bitch and get some pics taken and start a thread finally. Once we ave a few more things dialed in and the web site is closer to done, Ill actually tell ya'll the name of the shop so you can check us out on FB and the web. Duracoat is fucking bulletproof if done right... Few of my buds have duracoated weapons and the finish is bad ass and will take abuse

Coming from being a member on a few different teams just be patient OP.... If you make a good example of yourself and dont act like a jackass on the forum then soon enough a team will come looking for you

Subsonic ammunition is a must for shooting anything that isn't integrally suppressed and even then it helps. I wouldn't leave a can on your gun permanently, they do have a limited lifespan. You do realize that Bigsix is a gunsmith of sorts... Also the can life span is becoming less and less of an issue... I know a feel people who have 10K plus rounds through their cans with no adverse reaction...

It all depends on your laws bro... Like for instance here in VA where i live you can Open Carry with out a permit but in order to conceal you have to get a permit to do so... ** My thought on the badges is they should be illegal because from a distance and if you flashed some one quickly enough they could pass for an officer's badge... Not to mention as i previously mentioned they are totally against the purpose of concealment...

Well the purpose of having the permit is so that people DONT know you are carrying... If you do your job the right way then people DONT know you are carrying so they should not have to act different or have people treat you differently... If you dont make it obvious you are packing then no one should be the wiser
