    That is the only position I found that keeps the beavertail on my 1911 from gouging the shit out of me when I am sitting down... Plus its where i have always worn my holsters that were iwb or owb so its second nature when i go to grab for my gun

    I knew you'd be happy... The edges of it can dig in a lil bit but I found that if you push the holster back to around 4 pm it will get rid of that issue for the most part

    You are right but in the same breath being as they are sub 600 dollar platforms they hang with most of the pistols that are double/triple the price. Now i know customs have advantages to a Rock but for the $$ i dont think you can beat em not to mention most custom pistols have less than stellar CS and retarded wait times to receive them

    I encounter people EVERY day that leave their doors open and houses unlocked because the crime rates are virtually non existent in some places

    They arent necessarily entry level 1911's but my vote would also be rock island from personal experience because i own one of the tactical models and i have put it up against some custom 1911's at the range and i outshot a few of them.... For a very affordable pistol you cant go wrong

    I think educating the younger up and coming generations is a very good idea. I would NOT wait till my kid was 13 to start teaching them.... Start early and keep your weapons secured when you aren't around thus preventing accidents. It was common for everyone at my school to have rifles/shotguns in their vehicles at my HS as well
