I spent money owning both and i enjoyed them both, but show me two xxx 15's that play LOWER and DEEPER than mine, and THEN I will be impressed Who wants to take that challenge? You are correct, but I was saying the MT will play music louder, lower, and deeper than the xxx, so i am suprised they are not selling them. What Ray is saying makes sense...No " KID" walks in asking for an MT anyways, so they are strickly for competitors. I have had both woofers and I liked them both, but there was a reason I went with the MT. Anyways, let's see if RE DOES come out with something BETTER!!!!

My 2005 MT's were louder on music than my 2005 XXX 15's. PERIOD. Perhaps the new ones are alot better, they sure look GREAT. They were louder by 3dbs FYI

RE MT 15 Reliability - 9.0 - SOLID SOLID SOLID, strong as SH*T subwoofer, can take anything you can throw at it. Took My RF T3000 for daily, 1 of the tinsels gave out after 3 years of abuse. In the right box, they can sound GREAT. SQ - 7.0 - Not a SQ woofer at all, but it plays music fine. LOUDNESS - 10 ALL THE WAY. This woofer gets LOUD LOUD with lots of power on music too. LOUDNESS at LOW frequencies - 10. THIS woofer hammers the LOW bass line LOUDER than most anything out there. PERIOD. Overall - 9.0. Good overall woofer, if you want to be LOUD with decent SQ and you got POWER, MT will work fine. Even better for burps. Christian
