  1. No shit, just trying to help considering I have heavily tested with the 3500's and I know what is needed to make the voltage stay up.
  2. When are you wanting 14.4 on the amp? At idle or cruising at 1500 - 2000 rpm? Answer that and THAT will decide what you need for alts and batts to sustain healthy voltage on that amp. And is the 1.33 your nominal impedance, so are you aware of what your rise is?
  3. Well I can tell you that my two 3500's with my quad kit, 3(240) and (1)220 at idle if I play it at full tilt and really pull on the amps, I can get the voltage to drop to 12.8 for like a sec, but if I put my foot on the gas pedal and raise the rpms up to just 1000, no drop ever. And that is without my VCM, if I hook it my VCM it still drops, but for even a shorter amount of time. I am only running 2 3100's and a 3400 underhood. I took a picture of my sister in laws 2006 pickup, and her master cylinder sits back plenty far enough that you would have the room no problem, so maybe get a master out of a pickup? Her truck is a 2006 silverado extended cab 2wd with 4.8 base model. SO not sure where this change over is, but her master cylinder has a different fill tank on top too. I can load a pic up later if you need it when I get back to the computer. Just let me know.
  4. I got two kicker L7 15's for sale, if you are interested....check out the for sale section here.
  5. Colder is better for conductive properties of metal, if you get cold enough, it become a super conductor. But that is something completely different then car audio electronics...LOL
  6. You know GM did switch all of the full size truck/suv's in 04-05 to the larger 15 inch rotors and bigger calipers, mine is 14 inch rotor, I guess they increased the size of the brake master as well.
  7. Yeah that brake master is freaking huge, it be hydro boost or something. Cuz here is a shot of my 01 GMC
  8. Again, I would need to know when you need them, or else I can't help, I am very busy. Always booked!!!!
  9. And couldn't you just put a 90 degree fitting on that hose to move it out of the way, would that give you enough clearance?
  10. iv been emailing back with you or one of your guys he has already qouted me and i am now awaiting an email back to see what all i need to ship with my panels, where they need to go, and when you guys think you can get to them.. thanks *your guys work looks sick!! hope to be doing some buisness with you LOL, different company, you are probably talking about AMI Creations, I have never seen there work, but I also do fiberglass work. I also have a 2001 Sierra with the same pillars as your truck.
  11. Bumpin it up, doing them for 400 shipped for the pair or 200 each shipped in the 48 states!!!! These are heavy and shipping will be around $25 each so this is a great deal for subs that are MINT!!!!
  12. Not bad, get some more POWAR on them to make em wang!!! You running 14 volt system on the 3500's? What you clamping them at strapped at 1 ohm? Just curious....
  13. I had one, hated it, gained a huge blind spot behind me, made my car top heavy, and like 5 other stupid things that made car less safe I have a wall on my daily and love it. Granted I have other vehicles to drive so I don't have to drive it all the time, but I do anyway if it just me and don't have 3 other people with me. And everyone who is saying walls are expensive, how, have you guys done a "correct" wall before? LOL, mine wasn't much more then my 2 15 L7 box I made, just alot more time.
  14. I don't see how you will accomplish anything any different then what you have already other then some more port area so they will get a little louder, but you could do that with the current design already. I would say don't wall until you decide to do more subs or bigger subs.
  15. I need to get some money together then, this was gonna be a project for the winter when the truck has down time.
  16. Forget to mention it throws some nice flames too....
  17. Thanks, by far the one of the most fun cars I have ever driven, it is a blast, lots of power and the handling is crazy it will scare you, I freak people out all the time with it when they ride with me.
  18. Little dyno video of my evo X on the dyno at Cobb Tuning, this was several months ago, but thought I would share it over here. Enjoy!!!!
  19. Now what you would put on them and what I would put on them is two different things, I would put 4k to them and not think twice about it, but for you the rf1500 will get the job done.
  20. TY! k so lets say i have a 2 ohm sub....do i wire it at 2 ohms or can i go to 1?... Ok I will bite, it depends on amp, and several other factors, can you wire it to 1 ohm, if you have a dual 2 ohm sub you can. Now would you want to depends on what you are connecting it to and power ratings of the sub.
