GQ...you don't seem like an extreme multi-tasker...so, a dual-core chip would probably be more practical in your case.

How Big Of Alt. Do I Need?
Dale replied to RiddleRampage84's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
if you can fit (and afford) the 300 amp alt, then go for it. A big alt is never really an overkill. A good battery in the front and about 2 batteries in the back should be sufficient for you in this case, If you chose to run more power, however (saaay 5kW), I would bump up to a third (or even fourth) battery if I were you. -
Which Is Better High Def. Blu-ray Or Hddvd
Dale replied to jonathancullen89's topic in Pro Audio / Home Audio / Home Theatre
the only tangible difference between blu-ray and hd is that blu-ray media has about twice as much storage space. Whether or not something looks better depends on hardware and how the developers choose to take advantage of the extra space. For example ps3 games CAN look superior because the disc has the capacity for higher-textured maps for games, so everything looks more real. There is only one question....can the ps3 hardware process such bulky textures. -
yep...nissan

What Makes A Groundpounder?
Dale replied to marknotts's topic in Ground Pounders - Earth Shaking and still Driveable!
Usually SPL vehicles are tuned higher and groundpounders are tuned lower. Thing is, it takes A LOT more power to drive lower frequencies as loud as higher frequencies, simply because a) your ears are less sensitive to them and they require more energy. However, lower frequencies travel farther....hence, the reason why you hear groundpounders from a mile away. -
Batty/capacitor Help Please
Dale replied to PaulO2288's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Battery > Cap. I would go with a GOOD battery upfront, a helper battery in the back and upgraded wiring. The BIG 3 will also help him get the most out of his alternator. -
you're doin it BIG man. Nice
