  1. At my school, They start you off with VB, then C++, THEN JAVA. After, you move into things like LISP, Prolog and such
  2. eBay? i hope all goes well. im usually iffy about buyiing computer parts off of eBay, but i don't wanna discourage you.
  3. i remember my days of C++ ... so much fun
  4. GQ...you don't seem like an extreme multi-tasker...so, a dual-core chip would probably be more practical in your case.
  5. nice vid...now, check this one out!!! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2Rkwy71WSR0
  6. if you can fit (and afford) the 300 amp alt, then go for it. A big alt is never really an overkill. A good battery in the front and about 2 batteries in the back should be sufficient for you in this case, If you chose to run more power, however (saaay 5kW), I would bump up to a third (or even fourth) battery if I were you.
  7. the only tangible difference between blu-ray and hd is that blu-ray media has about twice as much storage space. Whether or not something looks better depends on hardware and how the developers choose to take advantage of the extra space. For example ps3 games CAN look superior because the disc has the capacity for higher-textured maps for games, so everything looks more real. There is only one question....can the ps3 hardware process such bulky textures.
  8. kaimana, that looks painful man...hope you get better soon dude....
  9. Deep, your top end dominates...and your bass was right there with it. As you know, I'd have to be there in person to objectively judge who won, but they both seem fierce on video.

  12. I have used hushmat and it works nicely. Sticks VERY easily and comes in black too!
  13. Steve, out of curiosity, what kind of camera do you use for your videos? Whatever it is, it picks up movement and sound really well.
  14. Usually SPL vehicles are tuned higher and groundpounders are tuned lower. Thing is, it takes A LOT more power to drive lower frequencies as loud as higher frequencies, simply because a) your ears are less sensitive to them and they require more energy. However, lower frequencies travel farther....hence, the reason why you hear groundpounders from a mile away.
  15. Battery > Cap. I would go with a GOOD battery upfront, a helper battery in the back and upgraded wiring. The BIG 3 will also help him get the most out of his alternator.
  16. 2kw is making that sub move hella far...lol love the vid man....post more
  17. what's your electrical like? also, if you have a build thread please link me
