Shut if and delete your post if you have not clamped to find the real power. it does maybe 200 watts less than rated IIRC. I hate audiopipe some amps break in ten minutes others last forever. 1 ohm is a higher resistance than 4 ohm... at 1 ohm you will be pulling more power from your amp than at 4 ohms.... EVERY AMP has an OHM stability rating. make sure to check the ohm stability rating if you wire under some amps go into protect. so stay with the stability of the amp although you can wire higher say your amp is 2 ohm stable you can wire above two ohms but not below it.. According to what you wire i wouldnt say better sound just moar power! Notice this amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_32465_RE-Audio-DTS-1000.1.html You see how 1 ohm puts out more than 4 ohms. Watts wise.. and its stable at 1 ohm Although i wouldnt trust that amp at one ohm Just an example! Class D is for efficiency and Class A is for fidelity and of course mono = one channel... TIP. This is used for subs. set around 8O hert for subwooferz High Pass, Filters out certain high range frequencies generally used for mid range and highs. Pulse What the fuck is that? THIS IS ADDED AMP SETTINGS NOT SAID... GAIN: NOT A VOLUME KNOB It is something to match AC voltage from headunit to amplifier. Telling it how much watts to put out... You set with Oscilloscope KNOWN AS A LOW PASS FILTER/SUBSONIC FILTER/INFRASONIC FILTER: Tells amplifier the lowest frequency it can amplify. Set it 5 hertz below what YOUR BOX IS TUNED TOO. If you didnt understand that say your box is tuned to 35 hz and you set the SUBSONIC TO 30 hz. Your amp wont play under 30 hz etc.... Also whats the best way to wire things? Under shit hidden? LOL I guess my real question is where can I see some break downs of how Rms and all of this stuff works because Im guessing thats where I can really get my fingers in and get started.
