Im gonna ask rusty to build me an 8" XL before I never buy another JL product. Dont take me as bashing JL at all. I love the products they put out, they are great products and preform great, they are just WWWWAAAYYYYYY over priced. People buy them out the ass anyway no matter the price. Cause JL gives super DBs

"JL is a good brand. they have been one of the leading innovators of the industry. if it wasn't for JL there would be no ascendant. look into the history of the company. im not saying its the best product in the world. i know of better amps, Audison and McIntosh, and the SMD is a great woofer. but the W7 isnt a piece of shit. its still a very good product. i know from years of experience. ive been in the game since i was 14, ive seen a lot over my 18years in car audio. also be carefull wjat you read in the diyma forum. that forum is known for haveing smaller manufactures pump their own product. to them its cheap advertising. thats why you see a ton of smaller brands in the forums but in the real world JL is 90%, and for good reason. fi's are great but the're not the best, im sorry but i would never put a Fi woofer in my car. just my thoughts tho" So is this true?

If you wire both in series. seperatly to each channel it will be an ohm of 4. If you wire in parallel series it will come out to 2 ohm. But most amps are not stable bridged under 2 ohms i believe. Dont get a 2 channel with the setup you have. Get a mono block
