Its not that im confused... According to my DD-1 I can play my subs with a completely flat EQ with MAXED gains... the mids can go up to high 30s without clipping, low 40s is where it clips. my sub gains are maxed and no distortion up to the mid 40s. how do i match it to 37 or 38? I read the Manuel three times im an idiot <_<

Alright So i re did it... And i turn the "Bass" all the way down and the other bass doesnt affect any distortion.. I have the gain maxed right now with it on +6 and it wont distort till on about the 50s or high 40s.... What do i do now to get it to distort so i can tone the gain back a bit

Damn my "Bass" is at +4 Uh oh. this will have to wait til tommorow and ray i dont get the speaker out put like on the harness? sorry But it doesnt distort ah shit im so stuck

I have the gains set and the Filters Flat the fact that im running my speakers off my headunit and they distort at about 40. I need to set my sub amp to volume 37 so its fine im going to hook it up and listen

Well i can raise it on one and raise and lower on another and it connects to a LPH but i dont need it its on my amp

Alright somehow i got it to detect and i put it at volume 37 but i turned the bass to +1 and it gave me distortion and i turned the gain down until no distortion. but no here is the problem my clip light is blood shiney red on my Gain knob. It says no distortion on the DD-1 and considering the Gain knob only detects rail voltage IIRC? will this be okay? and plus the bass wouldnt go in the negatives on one screen it says 0-6 "bass" and then another one says SW 2 -24 - +6 i went off the first option

But why would i set it around 60? when i know my door speakers sound like shit around 40 and i dont even have a signal around 40 and how do i reset my HU?

I have tried it in every terminal all negatives and positives still no detection until 47 volume and distortion city is at 40

I knew i would have to post a damn help post.. But i tried to tune my gains and the red prone is stuck to my red speaker terminal(good connection). and my ground is around bare wire hooked to my amp.(maybetake out the ground?) BUT IM not getting any signal at all... and until about 47... and i can Hear distortion city around 39 to 42 on my doorspeakers (connected to my headunit. but no matter what volume i turn it to it says it doesnt distort ALL EQs are flat Is it because the amp inside my headunit is distorting? at around 40 and my headunit can really go to 62 i have a pionner DEH8300 with 4v preamps im so lost. How would i tune my gains on a subamp? is the amp faulty? (AQ750) i used a -8.8db 40 hz tone on a USB and a -10 hz tone and a -5 hz tone at 40 on the SMD CD and it did the same thing...

i was thinking about this. Because i have a 1997 4 door Explorer.. So i was just going to tint the back windows to 2%. Build a big ass box With Slots that go over the wheel wells. And then just Make templates for any other excess space. so it looks clean in the front and then Do the same to the back. Thats just me though

I dont mean to be a dick.. But Bass boosted meaning? the bass is boosted alot louder than a flat equalized song... I love bass boosted songs (Unclipped of course) I love hearing the bass over the mids it makes me feel like my weak ass system has some juice
