FYI: they have a newer version that has factory plugs so the swap is even easier. They also have anodized heat sinks in tons of colors. I didn't want to wait an extra week because i have a trip planned....so i got the original version with powder coat color match.

thanks man!! and it isn't even close to where i want it to be yet. I still need better seats, 4 point harnesses, a new roll cage (don't like the shape of my stock one), some better wheels/dirt tires, longer travel suspension....the list goes on. But one thing at a time, it's fun to buy something cool for it every month or two and enjoy the journey rather than having it all handed to me finished. I appreciate my rides a lot more when i built them from the ground up than just signing a check. But these lights though, i really love them! it was a good upgrade. Supposed to have the light output of a 27" Light bar but in your headlight housings. It should be nice in the dunes at night

that's what i was thinking too lol. But the good thing is i guess if you do look up inside the fender, you can still see the goodness on the back side of the housing. These things make me wanna modify the Tahoe's headlights and retrofit them to take these

no. It's only one LED. It isn't too bright. The OM-1 can get a little bright though depending on how loud your system is being played....it has several LED's. The vm-1, tm-1 shouldn't be a problem for most.

Check out these vids that Doug from Soundman recently posted. First and foremost, it is of course a great demonstration of how great SMD Sunflash is. Once you try it you will not want to go back. But besides that, the technique that Doug used to build these is something i haven't seen before. It's worth a look. I also love the use of the mirrors to put sunlight into the panel to hit the resin. Haven't seen that before and i will definitely copy that! part 1 and 2...i would imagine there will be more vids later.

To understand why i named this video what i did, you have to play it all the way through to the very end. I forgot my camera was still on and "pocket filmed" some of his thoughts after the demo was over. I thought it was a great title Also, let me say this, I am not saying it's as loud as some of the astro's with 4th and 6th order bandpass walls i have heard, especially the ones with a "bass trap" seat. But no doubt it's still loud as hell and not everyone can take it. Some can, some can't. He couldn't. He loved it though and it was a great demo! Whether or not i am as loud as you, your cousin, your teamate, your wife....it don't matter. When he hears those systems, he will fuckin' love your's too. I gave him a taste of something he hasn't experienced and he is stoked for life now. Anyhow, that out of the way, i got a tap-out! It's been a minute haha! It's hard to tap people out when they have seen 1000 of your video's (literally), and KNOW what is going to happen. Most hold a poker face just for that reason. When i first started tapping people out 10 years ago on Youtube, and i think i was probably the first to upload a tap out, nobody knew what to expect and it scared them a lot more. Once in a while, i can still get em though!

Make sure to do a lot of research on towing a big load like that. Even though you may be below the towing limit, I'd be willing to bet that you are quite above the cargo payload limit when you get fully loaded up. There will be a sticker inside the driver's door frame that will list the cargo load limit. That weight includes your weight beyond 150 lbs, your passengers, fuel, any cargo (coolers, food, etc) and the weight of your trailer on the rear of the truck (tongue weight). Usually toy haulers put about 12 to 15% of their weight on the tongue, so at your 9,000 lb suggested weight of the trailer your looking at a tongue weight between 1,080 and 1,350 lbs. I'll guess that your sticker has a number around 1600 lbs , which leaves you with a cargo capacity of 520 lbs on the high side and 250 lbs on the low side once you subtract your trailer weight. Now you see why a lot of first time trailer owners step up to 3/4 and 1 ton trucks not long after buying their trailer. You always end up with too much trailer. Any towing website or forum will have all the information I'm talking about in way better detail. It's good stuff to know. you must not know about the Eco-boost. It's a towing machine. 9,000 suggested trailer weight? my truck is rated to tow 11,200. I don't plan on filling up the 100 gallon water tank or the 40 gallon fuel tank until i get close to where i am going. That will help. I also am not going to pack it to the brim with heavy stuff. Other than the RZR of course. thanks for the advice bro but i already have all this fully under control.

took the wife and my oldest son to see it today...again, i don't get it till Wednesday, so the best i can do is drive over and look at it LOL. Anyhow, here are a few more pics...with the rear down and the bunk beds lowered. Those 2 rear beds move up and down automatically to make room for the RZR. The bottom one can also be propped up to be another couch. It's safe to say the wife is SUPER excited! so am I! the awning is also on an electric motor...all automatic. This rear door can be lifted and lowered with one finger. It's so nice!

this thing is pretty damn loaded as it sits...but the first "mod" is already in the works. My Direct TV dish LOL You can pay month to month with it so i can order it up for a trip and not be committed. Do it again on each trip. I don't watch a LOT of TV while out but when you are in the dunes there is some down time as you sit in the AC and chill for a bit. Other mods...not sure yet. Some SMD logo's for sure
