  1. Call sony customer service, they will be able to sell you one, I think for around $20-$30, or if you comp. came with one try that.
  2. There is this cleaner I have used in my car before that is sold at walmart. I'll have to find a can in my garage later to remember the name, but it comes in a red aerosol can, its $0.99 per can and is sold in the aisle with the all-purpose cleaners and mops and everything. You spray it on your carpet, it foams up and you let it sit for a little bit then you use a wet/dry vac to clean it up. You can rub it in if you want to, but most of the time just spraying it on works fine. But I'll find out in a little bit what its called.
  3. Yea I checked, couldn't find the street name listed anywhere. So your right steve, its not on any map yet.
  4. No one that I know of, but I could ask around at college.
  5. Yea I got it about three hours ago, its doing the same thing that the original MOBO was. I've tried that. that was what I was talking about when I said bare startup.
  6. Yea I am hoping that's not it. Mainly because the processor alone is around $250-$300, I might be able to get lucky and find it for about $220 or so, but its still a pricey little shit.
  7. Alright, I posted this over at OCN but maybe someone here can give me answer also. I have a gateway desktop computer with a intel Q6600 processor, 4 gigs of ram , windows vista, and all the other goodies. My problem is, is that one night my dad( this is his computer) shuts down the comp. and it does fine. The next morning He went to turn it on and nothing happened. I tried doing a bare startup( just CPU, 1 stick of ram, video card and PSU) and got nothing. I ordered a new power supply and that didn't help. I just got a new MOBO in about two hours ago and that didn't change a thing. When you hit the power button, one of the fans buzzes like it trys to start for a second and the it stops, nothing else happens. So, I've narrowed it down to probably being the CPU, and yes i tried a CMOS reset today Is there anything else I should try?
  8. It doesn't push them out of gap, but when you have a common chamber box, you should run all the subs at the same time. That way they all take up about the same amount of air space when moving. But if you are only using half of the subs, to them it seems like twice the volume as if all of them were running. But if you only play it for a little bit its ok.
  9. What about the Thinkpad X300? Here is the Lenovo website for it.
  10. Parts Express has a 12" TC sounds DVC sub on clearance/buyout. here
  11. Almost 90 MPH at <1000 RPM edit: haha didn't even see it was in park
  12. It's most likely the pre-out voltage. Sometimes it makes a big difference.
  13. Did you check out steve's civic? I'm not sure if he exactly showed how he bolted his wall down, but it shows the full build. Here http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hp?showtopic=58
  14. Does it shift hard when driving or jerk when you put it in gear?
  15. About 1.4 cu. ft. Tuned to around 36-37 Hz. I believe thats about right. If I'm wrong somebody correct me.
  16. This wire worked well for me, 100 ft roll and only like $17.00, fully shielded.here
  17. What sub are you using, and are there any size limitations of the area the box is going in.
  18. I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but i believe it would either be a "nut" or "lug", but maybe I'm wrong.
  19. leave the ground in the amp. I edited my other post, BTW. And no, don't worry about getting shocked, that is unless your half naked or something, just as long as no bare skin is touching any other metal, say you arm on another bolt or something like that, you won't complete the circuit, and you won't ground out.
  20. Ok, there are roughly 2.5 cm per inch. so 12 inches would be 30.5 cm .now for inside dimension they would be 30.5 x 30.5 x 30.5. Outside dimensions would be about 32.5 x 32.5 x 32.5. That allows for the thickness of the MDF, that is if you use 3/4 in. MDF. Also, for the port, do you want it to be a slot port, or do you want to use a round port?
  21. no, leave the ground in the amp. Pull the fuse out of the holder, then put your power wire into your amp, tighten the allen bolt, the reinsert the fuse. Even if it sparks its ok, atleast you know you know you have current going to the amp, and don't worry about getting shocked, you won't ground out unless you are touching metal with you bare skin.
