  1. My little brother is finally getting his first system put together. He's looking for a 300-400 watt rms at 2 ohms amp. budget ---- as cheap as freaking possible (but won't burn the car down in 2 weeks). it's for a set of p1 10's if anyone cares and are single 4ohms i believe.. thanks for any input Sutton I'm not expecting a whole lot if anyone can't tell already.
  2. I love my xscorpion terminals! all that is needed is the appropriate ring terminal and you good to go.
  3. I'm looking for a set of the crescendo ccx65s sense they don't make them anymore to my understanding. I've found a few deals, but i'm always just a hair to late to land the deal. Thanks Sutton
  4. It works fine and it is accurate. You could also go with THIS it works well and is cheaper. I'll dig into some of the ones on ebay a little more then. I feel like this would go good with the rest of my xscorpian stuff anyways.
  5. I was just wondering if anyone was running this voltmeter? and if it's accurate since it doesn't appear to have a way to adjust it. Thanks for your time Sutton
  6. I need to take all 8 . I still have another year of management classes left but I wanted to get a head start on them now.
  7. Hello, I'm in my last class of my hands on training to become a tech, well I have one minor problem. I can't take tests work SHIT! I was wondering what alot of you use to take your tests. I'm looking for a book that may also give why they say one answer is more right than another as well. Any help or suggests will help me out a lot!!! thanks Sutton
  8. I know I can't recall the torque spec right off the top of my head but I remember it was pretty hefty, that's why I was looking for the right tool and not just something that would work. Thanks for the help so far guys, Sutton!
  9. There is a good chance it was clipped but not a ton. It was never ran at full tilt, ever. I never once even thought it could've gotten hot, not hot enough to short a coil together anyways
  10. Should there be that big of a difference though? And why would it drop over just a few weeks?
  11. No, right at the speaker terminal with the sub out of the box. It's an fi SSD btw, if that matters for anyone.
  12. I would just hate to have to get a recone. the sub has barely 2 weeks of play time on it.
  13. What is going on with this? when I put it in on the first amp both coils were sitting at .9 which didn't bother me at all. now one coil is sitting at .6. I was only running it on my punch 300.1 because that's what I had until everything stopped working. is there anything I can do or is this something that the other side will come down eventually as well? Thanks Sutton.
  14. it's a "plus" torx bit. the teeth are more blunt and the bit is a hair wider for the extra grabbing power, to achieve the required torque for the seat.
  15. I'm waiting for my snap-on rep to email me back but for the short term I just need something to take my back seat out with. I'll buy a snap-on add on kit to what I have but I just need something now and not have to wait for my guy to get his next order ready and what have you.
  16. Found that a couple times now but I haven't be able to verify if it is a "plus" bit or not. Thanks for the fast reply. Thanks, Sutton
  17. Said a couple for the little guy! will be saying more throughout the rest of the day!
  18. Are there any reliable online sources to order a t55 torx plus socket? I need one for my seats (fuerd can't do nothin' right!), I've been browsing around but can't find a site that looks like it's safe to order from. anyone have a go to website for tools or even a local store that might carry something like this? Thanks, Sutton
  19. I would go with 4 cubes too. Mine is in 3 and tuned somewhere around 36hz. it'll get lows but it's got alot more potential with the 4 cubes than 3.
  20. If I'm not mistaken, someone with more knowledge can correct me. You want bigger wire for less resistance, so you get more of you power to the leads. Also, the leads are more like flexible copper bars more than wires in the sense that people make them out to be. someone else with more experience can chime in though!
