It has been one hell of a ride that is for sure...... -
Moved the thread to competitors corner. Where do you live would also help someone get you in to the competitor scene in your area if there is any.

which imprint modelt you talking about? I plan on doing it with an older combo. cda-9884 and ktxh100 i think is the combo I got. I plan on running active but, it is only meant for a 2-way set up its only got a front, rear and sub hook up. unlike other processors (or maybe the new ones) that has a front, center, rear and sub. Unfortunately, I probably won't be using it full active because of this. I have a 3-way component and a sub in my car and in order to use the imprint with it I'd have to re-install my active crossovers for my 3-way. It would still be bi-amp so the 6.5 will not share the same signal as the 4 and tweeter. As much as I have read the imprint is simple to use and to tune but, we shall see. I know the latest version of the imprint is made for intergrating the oem equipment to after market. If I do install it I'll be sure to post about it.

B-PIllar foward refers to no-modifications to the cabin area. Now, for deadner there is no limit (as far as I know) to the amount you use as long as all the oem panels and carpets is in place and in contact.

deleting songs on itunes help
Team Bassick - Kimo replied to tacomabanga1986's topic in Tunez - All things music related
I had the same issue. I found the easiest way to do it was to categorize them by date added to library. You can then delete multiple tracks at a time. -
Your looking for a small set up not necessarily an SQ one and there is nothing wrong with that. The overall music comeing from the stock system in your vehicle is probably more than adequate for you and for most people. Adding a Sub to any stock vehicle systems is one of the quickest and most inexpensive ways of enhancing your stereo system. I did not click on the links but it looks like a pre fab box, some RE 8's and a Kenwood amp. At the price point of $400 that is about what your going to get. However, from the sounds of it bro seems like this is your first set-up. Whatever you decide to go with it will probably be a "just for now" set up. Those items you chose will get the job done. Only advice to you is to just do some basic research on the internet. If I am right and this is your first set up you may want a professional to install it for you.

Sound stage 'width' adjustment.
Team Bassick - Kimo replied to OrionStang's topic in SQ - SOUND QUALITY
Good Luck. You should get some definite volume with that set up. Depending how you angle the speakers will give you what your looking for. If the 6.5 are in the middle of the doors instead of low you should be able to mount one of the tweeters on the dash/a pillar. Can't wait to see the build thread. -

Sound stage 'width' adjustment.
Team Bassick - Kimo replied to OrionStang's topic in SQ - SOUND QUALITY
Just curious in the vehicle this build is for.....each vehicle has its acoustic limits. Tweeter placement will give you some control of the width but make sure not to drag too far from the mid. Phasing can help to bring them closer but ideally to keep them together is the best. The general idea when placing speakers is to get them as far away from the listening area as possible with out losing line of site, thus depending on the vehicle, kick panels or a-pillars are normally used. The hard core SQ guys you'll find majority of their's in the pillars as deep as possible because they are looking for width, height and depth. -

GOOD JOB BROTHA!!!!! We have reconed the night before for some shows. The crucial part is to make sure the glue is dryed. So if your coming out to the show this weekend they should be more than dry by then if you used CA glue.
