Hey peeps, I am looking for a couple of DC Audio emblems for my car. I need one for the dash, to go above the Kicker emblem after I move it down a little. 3" Long at the most. And another for the hatch, to replace the skull and bones. (It will just be moved) This one can be bigger, maybe 5 - 7 inches I don't know that I can find any, but it's worth looking for. If not I'll just have them made, but I'm sure that will NOT be cheap! I'm not sure if they will come loose from the dust caps, but the raised chrome DC logo on some of the subs would be about perfect. Anyway thanks for your time!

Okay thanks man. Yeah, I didn't think it would make that much difference since each sub only takes up .18ft3 of displacement. I'll probably just not mess with inverting them But yeah I'm not building another box, I'm just re-building the one I just built a few months back. Should be perfect when finished, and adding the new baffle will only raise my tuning to 34hz, with each sub seeing 2.5ft^3 I just don't see a reason for wasting this box when it does so well. Plus the less time and money I have to spend on the box, the more I'll have to spend on my door panels, dash, and interior color change, which is all now underway. Stage 3 coming soon! But yeah, thanks again for always being so helpful!

Hell yeah, thanks. Is it a DC basket? Cause I have a couple of 12" baskets, but they are from a CVR and a SoundStream, and I was just afraid that the DC basket would be a little different size. But yeah I'd love to have a spare DC basket, how much do you want to ship it?

Okay, but I can assure you this is by far the most musical box I have built yet. This box was built for music and hairtricks, not numbers.

I was just gonna say, that I owned a Tiburon, and there is no way you are gonna fit 4 18's in it with proper space. And I don't think you can do more than one alt either. If it were my car and build, I would go with 2 - Level 4 - 15's, or 18's, and a DC 5.0K. Then you would have room for batteries, equipment, ect. And the subs w/ be getting proper airspace. The L5's are a decent mid-grade sub. I have had pretty good luck with them myself. Not a bad choice... But I do agree with what someone else said, I would be afraid to buy any sub used. And you can't re-cone Kickers. But if you buy them new, they are pretty good about replacing them, no questions asked. Is there any other subs you had in mind? DC makes some really nice stuff, maybe some lvl 2 or lvl 3 - 12's? Also, AQ, Sundown, and Skar seem to be doing big things too! And there is always Fi, AA, and DD, they also make quality product, just not sure about the price range. Anyway hope this helps. Good luck!

Why not wire the sub to 1 ohm and let that ZX1000.1 actually give it some power? I know Kickers say only stable to 2 ohm, but I'm sure you will be over that with rise. I wired mine to 1.34 and it loved it all day! Loudest I ever heard that amp, NEVER protected or shutdown in any way. But I think that depends on how stout your electric is also. Anyway, whatever you decide to do, good luck!
