    I think you should use bolts and countersink the holes in the MDF to make it flush and to avoid snags

    I'm interested, I'm looking at doing a false floor in my trunk too. My cardboard floor doesn't like 60lb of box I think you should use the current carpeting as a template to trace out the shape in the 1/2" MDF then cut to your needs. possibly put in a hinge for access to the spare well? then lay the stock carpet over it. at least that's how my vehicle is. Find someone who can weld some braces with angles to lay the MDF unless you plan on changing your build up a lot

    Just found out. I want to sell my cheap HU and 10 gauge wire but most the people here use 10 gauge wire to give power to their subs, not to their amp lol. oh well....
