  2. With all 8 amps it hit a 155.2 @ 41hz. Amps were very conservatively set. Actual power was around 20k watts total; 1,250 watts per sub. We swapped to only 4 amps for Bass Boxing and still hit a 153. Most impressive thing to me was that it was able to Bass Box over a 150 with both front doors open. Anyone that's ever done it or seen it knows that your #s tank badly when opening that passenger door in the third round. Look for this thing at SBN next year. We're coming for the LightWeight belt. Also look for this thing at some Meca events next season. During the final BassBoxing run it also hit a 126.9 on the other meter that was 12ft straight in front the truck on the judges table. I'm thinking it'll do some decent drive-by #s.
  3. I don't remember getting a PM. All that I've received have been replied to. You can also email me directly at [email protected]. I don't get to check every thread on the forum that often.
  4. Google tone generator. There's a free program out there that let's you creat your own tones at whatever frequency for whatever duration.
  5. A LOT (and I mean a LOT) of work was done ahead of time to prevent flexxing. So far it doesn't seem to be a problem at all.
  6. You don't have to touch any setting on the slave amp. They all get bypassed.
  7. If he ever decides to totally do away with the backseat we'll add another 12 or so. For now 16 12s, 8 g31 batteries, and 4 amps are about all we can squeeze behind the back seat.
  8. This song comes to mind after seeing that pic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w467fM-rAs
  9. Actually each pair of amps will be strapped @ 0.5ohm on four subs. That's 0.25ohm per amp. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif
  10. Threaded rod and corner bracing installed. A couple pics to shoe just how big these ports are. Test fitting the box.
  11. That's just no damn good right there. Yeah I'll have the Maxx-Link, your decals, and I'll bring the router and bits.
  12. If you set it up like a 4th order then NightShade 18s will work great. They do not need a lot of airspace. Team Nemesis - Rob squeezed twelve NightShade 18s into an Explorer.
  13. The ap3000d already makes power @ 2ohms. Also they can't be strapped since it's a dual monoblock with 2 internally strapped 1500 boards. If you want power @ 2ohm then I recommend the Kicker zx2500. Either that or get a good amp that can run @ 0.5ohm daily.
  14. I know right. I need to get back over there to help you but got a lot of stuff at my shop to do. Way too much stuff going on at once.
  15. Whenever I get around to coating the box with resin that is exactly what they'll look like. All nice & shiny just like glazed donut.
  16. All three ports flared with the 1.5" bit. Test fitting the subs. The rest of the subs. As soon as I pick up a roll of speaker wire they'll all get installed. The only thing left is the corner bracing and threaded rod. I started installing the threaded rod tonight but didn't get finished. All that will get done tomorrow.
  17. Today's work. Got all the sub holes cut. Shot of the ports from inside the box. Time to flush & flare the ports from the outside. After the flush bit. I flare it in stages. First a 3/4" bit then two passes with the 1.5". Pictured here the center is flared 1.5" & the two outside ports are flared 3/4".
  18. I like Vista. Never had an issue specifically with it. Got it on one of my desktops and my laptop. The desktop lags sometimes but usually only cause I'm doing some serious multi-tasking. Vista on my laptop has never EVER given me an issue and is pretty damn fast. Sounds like some of ya'll are falsely blaming Vista for a slow computer. When the time comes for a new computer I'll likely get it with windows 7 & try it out.
