  1. I'm currently running two Zv.2 12"s daily in my Explorer. Off a single saz-3500d it has burped a 151.5. Does the same peak # on music. Will do 153s with two amps. I qualified BassBoxing with a 153.1 over a 30sec average on music at SBN. If you only plan to run a single saz-3500 on two then stick with the stock configuration. For a saz-3500 per sub get the NS cone and add a spider.
  2. It sounds like it's the amp. I would go one step further and swap everything between the two amps. All wires (even remote) and even swap the physical position of each amp in the vehicle.
  3. Switch your rcas around and see if anything changes. That should tell you if its the signal or the amp.
  4. Any company that does custom recones will be able to recone them. Yes they can be reconed to a different size sub, you'll just also need a new basket.
  5. Check out dB-R. http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_67_69 Totally worth it.
  6. I have personally used over 60+ Sundown amplifiers in my personal builds and never had one arrive doa or had one fail at it's own fault. I have abused the hell out of them with 0.125ohm burps, 9.5v drops, and 0.33ohms daily setups. It took strapping a pair of 1500s @ 0.25ohm (0.125 each) on 16v and about a dozen burps being pushed into full clipping before I finally managed to purposely fry the output section on one. The other amp was fine. These things are tanks. The customer service is great and the two year full replacement warranty is great. Also most people over look the five year discounted replacement warranty. What that means is that if your amplifier is damaged (even at your own fault) you can trade it in for a discount on a new replacement amplifier.
  7. Will it fit in your oven? Heat it in there on a piece of cardboard. Start with 300* for 10min and see how that works. It should bend easily with minimum force. If it doesn't work then bump up the heat.
  8. You should of put up pics where the rear hatch has cracked and is tearing the sheet metal apart.
  9. Any questions you have about the Z v.2s just make a thread and we'll be glad to answer them. They're still new and not on the website yet.
  10. If you insist on using 6" ports stick with just two. Three would have to be really long for your desired tuning and unless you're running a lot of power the additional port area won't be beneficial.
  11. The Zv.2s are already out and shipping. The NSv.2s will be available shortly.
  12. Young Jeezy - Air Forces = 41hz Lil Jon - Push That = 43hz Two great songs for Bass Race.
  13. We did setups with two, three, and four 18"s in here last year. They did alright but just not enough. The decision was made to cram as much cone area in as possible and 12"s are the perfect fit with the width available. Multiple subs also spread the power out for better overall power handling & reliability. Actual tested in vehicle tuning is 24hz. It plays the lows VERY well. Peak hold on music it does between a 155-155.2 from 29hz to 35hz (sealed on the TL, mic on the windshield). It was BassBoxing 154s playing Dj Billy E - Beats for My Van @ 32hz at SBN before the windshield let loose (30sec average, AC meter on the windshield). It did a 153.6 at an event this weekend (30sec average on music on the TL). It has become impossible to keep the rear side windows in the truck. They have broken totally loose. Even Gorilla Tape won't hold anymore as it just rips it off.
  14. With some of the BS a couple bad apples have been trying to pull it wouldn't surprise me if Jacob never did this again.
  15. Safelite didn't glue the Excursion windshield in all the way around and the molding popped back out.
  16. I have two of those same yellow Craftsman clamps as well as a Fluke and they all read identical.
  17. That's funny cause the instructions with my hidextra.com kit said the same thing about flipping the power input.
  18. Trunk cars like yours typically like 40-42hz range as their peak. Keep your boxes tuned in the 32-34hz range.
