  1. You can get the 6" aeros from www.thrilleraudio.com for $39 each. For a pair of BTL 18s you should only need four 6" aeros for the pair, but I'm not exactly sure. Someone at Fi could give you a much better answer there. I recommend asking them and please let us know their response. I'm curious to this also.
  2. pi = 3.14. Think back to geometry & algebra in highschool. amatt85 did a good job explaining it already. Radius = half of the diameter. 4" port = 2" radius, 6" port = 3" radius. For a 6" port its 3.14*(3*3)=28.26 For a 4" port its 3.14*(2*2)=12.56 When you multiply that by the depth thats calculating for volume. Thats how you'll figure displacement of the ports. For a 6" port thats 10" long 28.26*10=282.6in or 0.16ft. I hope this helps cause I really don't know any easier way to explain it.
  3. Aeroports don't work the same way a slot port does. You don't need as much port area with aeros.
  4. Ortiz vs Evans This was a boring fight. Evans played defense the entire time. Tito set the pace and got some takedowns winning round one and two but lost a point in round two for holding onto the fence after being warned several times causing round two to be a tied 9-9 score. In round three Evans does well at shutting Tito down & finally gets a big takedown himself towards the end winning the round. That left it as a draw by judges decision. If Tito hadn't held the fence he would have won by decision. I'm sure there will be a rematch in the future. Silva > Marquardt by KO in the last few seconds of the first round. Now Franklin gets the rematch for the middleweight title.
  5. 1st fight Minatauro > Heirring by judges decision 2nd fight Sherk > Franca by judges decision
  6. I'm pulling for Evans too. Also Sherk and Silva. I'm really wanting to see the rematch between Silva and Franklin.
  7. I just did a quick search and didn't see anything about an artist named Sliv or the song Gangsta. They're not on the ATL movie soundtrack.
  8. CA.com is only good for the classified section, but even then there are a lot of people who try to charge ridiculously high prices (more than bnib) or want to lowball you.
  9. Think of what all the cops, special 7, and feds were driving (GM suvs) and all the random cars that got destroyed were GM also. Secong time watching pay attention to how many of those random vehicles get close ups showing the make & model. Also, isn't it funny that the one Ford that was in the movie was a bad guy. Talk about subliminal messaging. Ford = bad.
  10. Thats an easy one. All you need to do is measure your trunk and give us your maximum heigth & width. The depth will be your variable, unless there is a specific size & shape your looking for. Also what do you want your box tuned to. For a 4ft box w/ a pair of 4" aeros tuned to 32hz they should be 14.5" long. This is according to the PSP calculator which is a little different than the others.
  11. Not just the Autobots but all the random vehicles were GM and they got close ups to show it.
  12. If the port will be completely external, then you need to figure its length into the equation. Will it be sticking out too far? Will it come through the rear deck lid?
  13. You can get them here also. http://www.thrilleraudio.com/searchresult.aspx?CategoryID=12
  14. I read one review that described this movie as one gigantic GM commercial. Every car in the entire movie was General Motors. The new Camaro looks sick. I can't wait for it to hit showroom floors. The movie was great. It had awesome fx with lots of action. I give it two thumbs up.
  15. I have the exact same laptop, Dell 600M. It was a valentines day present to my wife back in '05 or '06. She has used it for school and I use it for the TermLab. Its great for surfin' the net and wordprocessing programs like Microsoft Excel, Word, & Powerpoint. She uses Office regularly. It is not a gaming laptop though so don't expect awesome graphics or lightning fast speed, but its a great item for the money. I'm thinking I paid around $800 for mine new from Dell. That included an upgraded Microsoft software package. At $400 its a steal.
  16. I use WinISD to calculate the tuning.
  17. I can help you with box building & tuning but as far as which direction to point your subs & ports, its a matter of test and tune. In my experience with trunk cars, most subs/boxes do best facing back and some do better facing forward. I've even had a box do well facing up but I've never sealed off a trunk so I can't help you there.
  18. Then I wouldn't have any tools. Keep "shopping" around. You'll find someone with more reasonable rates.
  19. Someone should be able to pull it in half a day (4hrs) and reinstall it in another half a day. Thats 8hrs of work and the current average labor rate here is $65/hr so $65x8=$520. Thats just for the labor involved in pulling and replacing the engine.
  20. No, $1500 is not reasonable. If you were closer I'd do it for a fraction of that.
  21. 4cu ft net w/ two 4" aeros = 15.34" long for 30hz tuning (from WinISD). FYI, 4" aeros flare to flare = 6" long.
  22. I see four bdsync cables but you should only need two? Congrats on the buy. I'm waiting on build pics/vids.
  23. The local RF dealer wants $200 for a kit or $6/ft for RF 1/0 wire. Thats why I buy entire rolls at a time. I got an entire 50ft roll of RF 2/0 from Hda for $3.50/ft, 30ft of RF 2/0 from a source in NJ for $4/ft, and a 40ft roll of RF 1/0 for $3/ft shipped. I'll always need the extra on other projects later. It is better to do it right the first time instead of paying more to do it over and over again.
