  1. Question: lent friend my welder, forgot he used it for flux months ago since I always use gas. I used the ground clamp on my PC while I've been replacing the thermal paste since I don't have a grounding mat. Is it ruined if I just realized it was still DCIP? (The ground to the + terminal, it was plugged in but switch flipped OFF)

      I doubt it. You didn't turn the welder on and/or complete the circuit with the tip did you?

      I've never used any sort of grounding strap when I work on my computer.

      I didn't use one last time and I installed everything but the CPU fans while it was on carpet and everything was fine lol, but that was 4 years ago when my carelessness was on purpose not on accident like this lol
